The funny thing about peace is that there is nothing funny about it at all. It is so serious that we try days on end to achieve it. But the only way to achieve it is by fighting for it. We must fight for peace. When we fight for peace, we fight with power, passion, love, understanding, and we do so oh so very violently. War is made to make peace, but that defeats all the purposes of trying to achieve peace. But peace cannot be achieved without violent fighting. The struggle for power in itself is the seek for peace, no matter the underline desire. We seek to create peace and understanding with ourselves. Could you imagine a world where we did not seek peace? If there was no fighting for peace, we would have no order, no war, no government, no weapons...what would we have? Nothing. Peace is violence and violence makes peace. Peace is the very weapon man uses to create war, thus making war, creation, death, and murder the most peaceful thing we hold dear. Whenever you stand up to fight for something you believe in you are fighting for peace, whether the goal be finding peace in yourself, of finding peace for someone else.

Stand up and fight, because that is the nature of peace. Peace cannot exist without violence, because the two create eachother. They are one...

Very, very nice and well said.

I, too, find it interesting how peace and violence go hand in hand. It kind of goes with the good/evil statement. Good cannot exist without evil and evil cannot exist without good.

I'd really love, love, loove to see more
