I'm surprised there isn't a thread on this, but here's one now.

Now I originally didn't think vampires would work on TV because they're so worshipped on the big screen. However, after watching the first season and what's available of the second season so far, I've been proven wrong.

I have to say that Damon is most certainly my favourite Salvatore brother. Stefan's loving and caring, but I guess there's something attractive about the bad boy.

Does anyone else watch this?

I watch the Vampire diaries.
It is currently my Favourite TV show on atm. Season 2 has recently finished and I can safely say that I am VERY excited for season 3!

I Personally love Stefan the most, I do love Damon too but stefan is like the Boyfriend every girl wants *swoons*
I also really love caroline and can't believe how awesome her character has become, I remember the annoying girl that not many liked at the beginning of the show and how strong she has become!

Stefan and Caroline are definitely my favourite parts of the show!

But yeah, I love that show. It's like a less Gothic version of True Blood, which can get smothering in its darkness and erotica. The Vampire Diaries has this nice mix of romance, action and character development. The script is good. The cast are HOT STUFF, and the musical score is pretty amazing to boot.

Another thing I like about this show is that the main focus isn't constantly on the vampire and his lover (Stefan and Elena). We get focus on new vampires like Caroline, the rivals such as Damon, and even opposing sides, such as antagonists like Katherine and

Elena's kidnappers, as well as the Originals.

We see villains' motives, we see human fear, werewolf emotions, fights and love, all under a great musical soundtrack. This show has got an awesome balance going on, and I hope they keep that up.
