What actors/actresses do you think used to be a bit of an ugly duckling when they were younger but then turned into a not so bad looking girl/guy?

I was watching Kesha's video clip 'Blow' the other night and OMG I saw James Van Der Beek and was like.

I'm gonna go with Jennette McCurdy. Or as she's known to most of the rest of Nick viewers (not that I am one personally ) that other chick from iCarly. Now, I refuse to watch that show but if this girl was the main character and they got rid of that one kid, I'd probably watch more. And, yes she's over 18 (I checked) so it's no pedo.
