Blue Mage
So i watched this movie recently. matt damon rocks. but i was left sort of confused. was his character gay? and if not, was peter? or dickie? not so much dickie i think, what with having a fiancee. but i don't think tom did. he said he did, but i think it was just in response to what dickie said.
also, i know this movie was based on a book, but did anybody see any similarities with "the great gatsby" or perhaps "the picture of dorian gray"? i mean, all three had somewhat sexually ambiguous relationships surrounded by lavish lifestyles.
also, why does he kill peter and not the chick, the only one who still thinks he's dickie and not tom? i mean, at the end, she's pretty much the only one who could expose his secret. but instead he kills peter. is it because regardless of the complications he still wants to be dickie on a deeper level?
