Yes, I once found out hilarious when someone told me that some people from different regions of the United States wouldn't probably understand each other if they were put in one room and left to have a conversation.

Now I wonder....is it true?

That's probably because in America there are normal people and then there are the rednecks, and they still speak like they were in a badly made 50's classic.

Some would be. Texans have an accent but you can understand them, I'm Texan but some people from the U.S. I probably wouldn't be able to understand. I could probably understand it about as well as someone speaking Spanish slowly. Which is actually pretty well.

That is probably mainly said about white people tryin to understand black people...

And regarding to putting people together in a room, I've been in a room with all king of spanish speakers. What happens is people ending up laughing of each others accents and such. However, my speech is the most neutral and without any ticks, so I don't get anyone laughing on me, yet I can laugh on everyone else.

Anyways... I prolly won't be as active in here due to some strange occurences (it seems my stupid bro blocked FFF (AGAIN)) so I'll have to use my ace-under-the-sleeve, aKa proxy,
