Virgo gasped as an explosion overhead set a cactus alight with searing flames. Her eyes reflecting the fire, Virgo drew her twin knives hesitantly, looking out for any enemies, ready to eliminate them.

She was in the Nevada Deesert, as were the other members of the Light, and also the members of the Dark. The battle had been going on for at least two hours now. It was more a game of cat and mouse than anything else. She had only encountered two members of the Dark since this whole incident had begun, and both had bypassed her before she could draw her knives and attack them. Not that she was ingrateful for the lack of action.

Occasionally the fighting could get out of hand, and Virgo usually got sick of it quickly after it began. These bursts of fighting tired her, and she wanted a life of peace; longed for it. But when she had a brief respite, she couldn't relax. She merely worried during her downtime, dreading a new call to arms. Heh. The life of a soldier. The life of Light.

Pride sighed as he sheathed his blade. Wiping his fringe, he stood at the ledge of the cliff, observing everything before him. He longed for the taste and touch of blood. Ah the thought made his body full of pleasure, his mouth water.

Crouching down and picking up a handful of sand, he let it loose, allowing it to spill between his fingers and drift away on the wind.

He'd never been in the desert before. Pride liked it. Open hunting grounds made for wonderful spying and elimination. Even though he was yet to see an agent of the Light traipsing around, he would see any below him, significantly reducing the chance of somebody sneaking up on him from behind and taking him out without his knowledge. Wonderful... The life of a soldier. The life of Dark.

"Throw it harder!" Stella sreamed toward her brother who stood in the shadow of a tree.

She held a baseball bat and wore a blue sundress. She decided to wear her hair out for the weather was lovely this time of year. Her straw hat sheilded the harsh sun from her eyes so that she could see the baseball in her brother's hand. Baseball was one of her favorite sports of all time and she and her brother played it often on hot summer days like this. "Look out." Seth said as he readied the baseball and threw the pitch.

He stood in the shade of a nesrby tree; he hated sunlight. He threw the ball with much force and watched as it soared towards his sister. The heat was almost unbearable as he wore a large jacket, but the breeze from the nearby lake balanced it all out. The twins were relaxing in their summer home. "Awww! Why'd you have to throw it so hard Seth?" Stella asked as the ball went right pass her and into the street. "It's okay, I'll get it!"

Seth smirked as his sister ran out to get the ball. He began to sit down on thwe warm green grass and watch the sun. The sky was blue, like always. He watched the shadow of the tree as it moved and swirled. It was his doing... Up until three days ago he had bee able to move shadows of objects. "What is this?" he mumbled as his sister came running back.

"okay! I got it!"Stella said as she smiled. "Oh!? Are you tired? Stay there I'll go make you a snack!"

Seth smiled. His sister was so lighthearted and pure. She was nice to everyone she met and was also so helpful. He would miss her when he left home at night...
