So I've beaten the game a few times, and i never ever had this ending to Final fantasy X-2. Is there something that you have to complete to get this ending? Have you even had this ending? ughh there's so many questions. I always wanted to know what happens to Tidus.

I love this ending it's very adorable and it makes me want to cry lol. Very cute ending ^_^

Well, I know you need a decent amount of percentage completion. I got like 62% on my first playthrough, so I didn't see it, but in my second playthrough I got 98% completion (with the aid of a guide :P) so I managed to see the CGI of Tidus and Yuna reuniting. I'm not sure what the minimum completion number is to see it though >__<

I know that 100% you get that CGI scene plus a little bonus in-game scene with the two of them at the Zanarkand Ruins.

But yeah, there's a lot of little things to do that gives you percentage points; mainly going through a whole lot of optional scenes X_x

So yeah I saw it :monster:

Although I greatly detest Yuna's character in FFX-2, and the sequel game felt kind of unnecessary since FFX ends rather conclusively even if it's sad...

I was pretty happy to see those two embrace each other again ^^

Nothing to do with 101 Cloisters of trials

I thought you had to get 100% and talk to the Old man a bunch. You know the old man that talks a lot. He'll ask you a question at Lablancs HQ. Answer a certain that is. Plus at the farplane everytime you hear a whistle you have to hit the ok button. Anyways thats what I've come to conclude. Been a while since I played and I've only got the ending once.

There is a lot more you have to do to get the 100% ending and it's best to follow the strategy guide to earn those completion points. However it's quite fun! I just recently beat this game and achieved the 100% ending! Hooray for me! :D It was actually quite nice. I love seeing Tidus and Yuna reunited and I almost cried seeing them hold each other, especially when he says "I am back..I'm home!" There is so much emotional deliverance in his voice that it just makes your heart leap in your chest and a lump rise in your throat.

I've never gotten it..I was working through the game with a walkthrough but then I let my friend borrow it. I do believe that to get the reuniting scene back there is something you need to do that involved hititng the circle button when you are inthe farplane...perhaps in both instances...if you did it the first time when you hit circle at the end of the game you will hear a whistle....and I think you are given a choice to say something....one way you choose makes her say something that makes it sound like she's moved on..the other doesnt...I think there is an option...anyway, I think that's something you have to do. I did it but I never hit circle the first time I went to the farplane and my prcentage complete was pretty low that time so I didn't get the scene...Anyway, I can't remember the exact details but I think that is the major requirement, I would suggest looking it up online. Gamefaqs.com is excellent for that.

Nope, it's the X button. When you get on the Farplane, once Yuna is by herself you hit the X button and you hear a whistle. Bahamut's fayth appears before you and he asks if you want to see him again. That's one thing you have to do for sure.

You do need to get 100% on it like everyone else has already mentioned. The strategy guide has a very good walkthrough in the back as to what all you need to do to get 100%. It's very helpful! That's how I got the perfect ending was just following the FFX-2 strategy guide. I think the hardest part for me was getting through Via Infinito. Once I got to the last few bosses,I used the cat-nip trick to get through them.

But yes,the perfect ending is great! Even though Im not a huge FFX fan,I was happy to see Tidus and Yuna reunited. It was a very sweet ending.

Nope, it's the X button

Oh, well I knew you had to hit something...too many special buttons in too many games!
You do need to get 100% on it like everyone else has already mentioned.

I think you deffinately need 100% for the scene with them at Zanarkand but you don't neccesarrily nee dot for them to be reunited do you? Fusionist got it at 98%...and I think I've heard of people getting it at less. I think you need a high percentage...but not 100% for the reuniting scene..if you want the Zanarkand one you need 100%

No, you don't need 100% to see the reunited. I think as long as you get 98% they'll be reunited or something like that anyway, you just won't see the additional scene in the Zanarkand Ruins with the two.

Thanks for the helpful strategies and getting the perfect ending xD
Yeah, I was thinking about getting the walk through but i never had the chance at getting it.
And i agree with you Shiva. It's so adorable seeing them reuniting and i was so excited and i was like OMG OMG xD it made me smile :) they're so cute together

100%?

I'm sorry if this thread has already been made, but has any one here gotten to 100%?
Me my self got 100% about a week ago and im was amazed i got it D;
What about any of you?

I've only played it once and I got somewhere in the 90's if I remember correctly. I can't really be bothered trying to get 100% because I don't like the game and I watched the 100% ending on youtube and thought that the other (good) ending was better =/

Yeah I got it, you cant get it on your first play through because you need to ally with both yevon and youth league in oder to get it, so you have to do new game + >=[

Amyway, its pretty esay to get tbqh, and the stupid thing is you dont even need to DO everything in order to get it, i know i fucked up on both plays becasue i never got chapter copmplete for fucking zanarkand or w/e both times, i never got the mascot dress spheres, never managed to beat shinra in that game of sphere break although i came damned close -shakes fist- I neve rbeat that angra whatsit in bikanel when digging, never did via infinito. You have to talk to everyone and open every chest though which is laaaaaaaaaame.

So yeah, I got 100% but i never did every thing

You have to open all the chests?

Actually, you can get 100% in one playthrough, just as long as you give the sphere back to the Youth League rather then New Yevon.

RE: 100%?

I've got 100% two times. Now I'm out trying to get every item. Lik garment Grid, Accessoris, and that damn mascot dress sphere. I tried to get mission Complete but messed up on the chapter 4 comsphere.

Seriously? My first file I played back in 2007, I got 97% complete, and the only thing I didn't do was get the Mascot Dress sphere, because I couldn't find the freaking thing. -__- And I only got that percentage because I meticulously watched everything I was doing. I had to even restart my file because I didn't touch the giant moogle at the beginning. I didn't even see the freaking thing. :gasp: But yeah, I've never obtained 100%. I think I might do it over spring break, though...

You have to open all the chests?

Yeah...well, Im pretty sure you do anyway, they like resetr in each chapter so you have to go opening them all again in each new one, im SURE of it <_<

We already had a thread on this topic, so I went ahead and merged 'em. Please make sure you check the forum before posting a thread so there isn't a duplicate. Naturally with as long as this game's been out for, there would be a thread for it. Thanks.
