The Paths of Tragedy-RP Discussion Thread

He wouldn't exactly be hard to notice :wacky: He's the only blue-furred alien there

A conversation would be welcome. Hera Ledro is...well, he's impressed by Felldoh, but still is rather bored with the fight.
Well Cairn could talk with him about the battle, analyzing both fighters and trying to foretell an outcome...

Oh and it's ok about the mistake Jonathan, we are all humans.:neomon:

Well, some of us are, anyways :monster: Me, I'm a cookie monster. :monster:

Blue Fur ftw!

Well, Brome's revelation has, suffice to say 'attracted' Hera's attention.

As stated in my latest post, I will explain the Jonad thing.

The reason for using him here, is that I wanted to RP him, as he was a character that was completed not that long ago (compared to time of RP start)
So, I hurried to RP him, but in the end, he was an untested character, and I did not know what I put myself into.
He is not on that I can RP with too much, as a healer IS important yes, the lack of fighting leaves me craving more.
Even with multiple characters to control, I get the feel that he will in the end, turn into dead weight. As I will focus on the other characters, and in the end the posts about Jonad, will be detailedness, and poorly written.
So, I might kill him off, make him into a NPC, or acctually continue RPing with him (doubtly)
Do not worry, I will make his 'leaving' or 'lack of activity' a logical one. But that will be revealed in time.

He is not a character I will use regularly in the future, and he will most likely receive an edit (read: remake) or serve as a NPC in the future.

So, I will mainly focus on Alumar, as he gets to entering (Hint, hint, Julius ^^)

I might also continue to use Entas, or let him "walk away", as he was mainly entered in this RP, to be Felldoh's opponent. After which, I might make him 'go away' as well.
I have several other characters that are 'untested' and some make for good characters in this RP. so I MIGHT ask for entry of them later on.
But that is for a different time.
You at least should understand my ideas about Jonad.

So, he will most likely. 'Go away' ^^
(Nothing is guaranteed as of yet)

I like the NPC idea, how about Jonad staying in Palacious? There's a Great Library there in which scholars gather to obtain knowledge. Who knows, maybe he could learn some offensive spells there and add them to his arsenal for future usage (you can add that reference to his RP Biography as an Update).

More characters? Sounds perfect. Like they say; "The more the merrier" :P

Hey, Julius, You think you can bring in the dark knight (Which I know is Lucius) towards my character so they could have a conversation as they prepare for their match?

As it seemed to be highly encouraged, and Im trying myself out for multiple characters.

By Popular demand, I'm asking for permission to use Soris in this RP.

Just note, FFGuy's character Damian, and Soris have bios that are wowen together, as they knows each other purdy good.
FFGuy will update his bio later, be ti today, to a later date.
It is written, he just have to edit it first.

So, They know each other really well, just so that you will not find the sudden friendship to be odd.

Yes, he is a 4 legged Fox. He looks just like a normal animal.

You already know my answers. I am reading it now, but consider it as approved.

HOLY HELL that was a fast response.

WOO, Soris is entering his first RP ^^

For the record, Hera has already approved him , so he should be balanced, and "ok" ^^

Heh, Ill take that as a compliment. Thanks ^^

Now, cine I have the last post at PoT, I sorta have to wait until a post comes until I can post again.

Sicne Im too lazy to edit ^^

For those who have doubts, the tournament's host is the lord of the region, a man who is part of the royal family for he is the king's half brother.

Cairn nodded agreeing to Hera's comment about the host. Indeed, they have been waiting for quite an amount of time for the host to arrive, since he would be the one who will officially start the tournament. As the contestants awaited, more and more warriors arrived, among the a man clad in dark armor, similar to the one they met before at the city of Palacious when Zeria and the others fought against the mysterious entity known as "Dark Fayth-Samael". The dark knight was enshrouded in a veil of mystery, his face hidden underneath a dark cloak, similar to the ones worn by monks. Over his face, one could slightly notice some sort of mask, with only two oval shaped holes for the eyes, and a "S" carved on the left side of the mask, underneath the orifice made for the left eye. The mask had no other shape, no nose, no mouth, only two menacing eyes that stared at your from deep within the shadows.

Cairn noticed the presence of the dark knight and recognized him: it was the current champion, the one who would give one of these contestants an exhibition match to start the tournament. After a winner is decided, the champion will face him or her in a final battle to decide who is the true champion. As the dark knight walked through the crowded hall, he passed by Cairn and his party without even looking at them, his eyes were fixed on the giant doors at the top of the stairway, the path leading to the arena. To the left and right of the giant stairs were the fighters chambers, the rooms had the necessary items to supply contestants with all they need to prepare for the upcoming event. "It's him..." Cairn stated with a serious tone of voice, his eyes fixed on the dark knight.

Suddenly, the doors beyond the stairs opened, and the host of the tournament emerged from within. It was a middle age man, with long brown beard and mustache, small fiery eyes, broad eyebrows, and a long robe that covered most of his body. The robe was white, with golden runes decorating it, and underneath the robe the man was wearing a heavy breastplate, and both arm and leg armor, and iron gauntlets. With open arms, the host welcomed each and everyone of the contestants and bowed respectfully. Soon after, he stood tall, his very image dignified by his imposing and glorious presence.

"Welcome humans, elves, dwarves, and people from the other races of this glorious land. I would like to announce the beginning of the 30th Celeste Tournament. My name is Marcus Salazar, and I am the fortieth Castellan of this splendorous architecture. Even though it is known as The Colosseum, in fact this is only part of a gigantic structure built ages ago by my ancestors, people that ounce habited the now ruined region of Celeste. Now without much delay, let the Tournament begin!! I would like to add, if anyone else wishes to participate, please state it before the first round begins, or sadly you won't be able to participate. Enjoy!"

Salazar snapped his fingers and aimed to the giant board that hung from the wall behind Cairn and his party. Quickly, one of the guards ran towards the board and stuck a giant scroll that had the list of the contestants and who they would be fighting against. The battles will held per turn, meaning that we will have only one battle at a time (because we only have one arena :P)

Somewhere near Celeste....

Julius have been pursuing Hejaloki for hours, and it seemed that he would eventually get him cornered to finish him. While chasing Hejaloki, Julius could not avoid feeling the presence of his other half, his twin soul Lucius making an act of appearance near the Colosseum. After thinking that it would be entertaining to participate in the tournament as well, Julius opted for not following Hejaloki anymore.

"You are lucky....next time....I will end your life....just like I did with "her" a millenniums ago...."

Suddenly, Julius was covered by dark mist and swallowed by the darkness, disappearing almost instantly.

Back on the Colosseum

Cairn was staring at the announcing board and noticed that his first battle was against Hera Ledro. Amazed, Cairn could not avoid feeling proud of having his first battle against someone as skilled as Hera Ledro, and he was quite eager to see how well this dragon warrior was with the sword. "It seems that my first battle might be my last....Hahahaha!" Cairn commented and laughed with a great sense of humor, as he stretched his right hand towards Hera Ledro and offered him a handshake. "Let it be glorious, if I fall then I am proud of falling to one of the best. My time has passed, now the colosseum demands fresh blood. Who knows! Maybe you could be the champion, or Jake, or anyone here." Just as he voiced out his opinions proudly, another man enshrouded in mystery arrived. The man was wearing a large robe that covered his body and hid his identity. Having signed up late, he knew he would be set to fight against a random contestant, and fate was humorous enough to have him placed on a battle against Jacob Luke King. With a slow, yet threatening pace, the man headed towards Jake who would be his first opponent and noticed the presence of his former comrades. Not giving them much importance, he rose his hand (his hands were protected by fearsome gauntlets that resemblance a dragon's talon) and pointed a single finger towards Jake's face. The man could be heard smiling deep from deep within the cloak.

"Perfect...my battle against a rarity of nature...how amusing...."

The nameless warriors said with a mocking tone as he lowered his hand and turned his back on Jake, leaving towards the warriors' chambers. Cairn stared at the leaving man seriously, then shifted his eyes towards Jake, knowing Jake's explosive nature, it was evident that the young dragon warrior would burst in anger after being taunted by the nameless warrior.

"Hold your horses Jake. That man should not be taken lightly. I sense darkness, pure darkness and malice emanating from him. I would be careful if I were you..."

Oh yeah.
I forgot to mention
Soris will off course be on the neutral side ^^

I'm requesting that my match be postponed. I've been grounded due to horrible grades (and shouldn't even be on now). I'm so sorry for this guyz, but if my match can wait, i'd really appreciate it. Sorry Wylliam. :(
