This is something that Viv started at a different forum. Where when bored, you can write out a random storyline, revolving around a character you create. The versions I post now is only different wit ha detail here and there that I missed during writing, and general typo fixing.
Though, as I wrote the last chapter today, I wondered how I were doing, so I decided to post it up here for criticism.

Please state your comments and critics.

Note that this is an ongoing story, it is written when Im bored and feel like it.
So, chapter 4 might come whenever.

Chapter 1 - Shattered past

The air was heavy, use up ages ago. Breathing became an inconvenience rather then something you do out of habit.
He opened his eyes, looking around; it was completely dark, save a few small colored blurry lights. They looked like buttons, or something of the like.

"Ow... My head...." he said to himself, as he stroked his right side of his head in the darkness. Apparently he had hit himself, as a tender lump proved this idea.

He shook his head, again trying to look around. The darkness where slightly brighter now, apparently he was out for some time, judging by the state of his vision.
It was better now though, and he could see slightly better.
The lights he saw before, was indeed buttons, 4 of them where currently alight. And he noted that he was inside a small room, which had only a chair, and a whole row of buttons.
He sat in the chair, with a stick, sticking up between his legs, seeming to fit perfectly in his hand.
At his left, there where another stick, thought that was a sideways one.

He was in a cockpit. The blast shield was drawn fore, hence the complete darkness. The blast shield is a metal shield for the window.
He looked around. There where way too many buttons, and he had no clue what so ever what they did.
Which lead him to a question that delivered some fear to him.

"Who am I?"

He looked around as his eyes had removed the blur and he could now see way better than a minute ago. He looked mostly on himself. He had a black set of pants, a black tank top. His hair was rather long, he estimated it to hang to around his hips, and it was fastened in a ponytail, pure white in color.
The pants where held up by a black belt, and his boots where black as well.
He laughed slightly at himself; only black clothes and pure white hair.

He noted that on both wrists, he had some large bracers, almost like gauntlets, just that they did not cover his hands, off course these were also of a black color, the type that does not reflect light, it seemed they were covered by a rubber material.
They began just behind the wrist, and went up just over halfway to the elbow. They had buttons on them, as well as a screen.
The right hand one glowed a very faint red color and the left one a dim blue.

He pressed a button on the left one, as the screen flashed on, displaying a message that made him let out a large sigh.
"Enter password"
It was the same for the right one.

First now, he noted a set of Dog tags around his neck. Perhaps that would help out?
He lifted them up, and read the info.

-------
Home world - Larosia
17/12-14th
Blood type - A+
-------

That did not do much. At least he now knew his home world, as well as his blood type, though he was still at square 1.
If they where his dog tags at all, and not something he had stolen or something that was placed on him.

First now, he noted that when he released his dog tag, it did not fall down. Thus he was in zero gravity, most likely in space.
His right hand where instinctively drawn to a screen, that light up as he came in contact with it.
A set of choices where displayed, but one main one where what he felt most drawn to.
"Open cover shield"
A second after he had chosen it, the cover began retracting, showing his current location.
In space alright, thought there were no planets in sight. Save distant lights.

The power level indicator indicated 60% left, and 80% fuel, life support was jumping between critical and low.
All systems where go, no problems with the craft at all, at least this was the displayed date. This only gave him more questions.
Why was he here and what happened?
These where only 2 of the many questions that arose in his head.

He noted that even thought he did not remember anything, he knew how the fighter worked. And on further thought, he knew that he was in a fighter, one of many that the larger class ships carried.
He started clicking around on various buttons, only by instinct.
The display started showing a lot of information. Location, weapon status, shield status, engine status. Basically everything about the fighter.
Lastly, he turned on the sensors. The sensors picked up a lot of interference, and it displayed his location, a few random asteroids, a large class vessel not too far away, as well as some debris of a long gone ship.

As his fighter where not capable of hyper space travel, he headed for the large class vessel. The trip would take a rough 10 minutes.
As the fighter where on auto pilot, he started roaming around in the database.
Neither the information about himself, nor anything about the reason he where in there, only a lot of general information that did not help him the least.

After 6 minutes, he was near enough to see the size of the ship he had detected on the sensors.
It was fucking large, at least a kilometer in length. It was a purplish color, and had what appeared as a smooth and slightly reflective surface.
He tried hailing the ship, but was only greeted with the ships computer.

**Image Link**

After a few minutes ‘talking’ to the computer, he learned that the ship where unnamed, it only had its production number: XCN-514-P
The computer responded to the call sign “Lil”
The current crew size, where none. As the ship where hid in an empty part of space. The interference in this region, made the ship almost impossible to find, thus it was perfect.
The reason it was hid here, was that it was made as an experiment, but some of its systems where too much for the time and planet it was made in, so instead of destroying it, it was hidden away, until the time came that it would be found, hopefully that would make it right “in time”, technology wise.
The computer had been programmed to let the first one finding it, become its captain and owner. This was due to the creators had died ages ago.
He grinned largely, as he instructed Lil to open the fighter bay, after which he entered and landed.

As he exited the fighter bay, he noted that the right bracelet started to fall off, he had apparently knocked it loose during the time he where in the fighter.
As he looked at it, his face grew with a grin.
On the inside, there was a name written.
”Owner: Acery Phazin.
Contact if found.”

A memory flashed by; it showed a few men shouting his name, as if shouted to a friend.
Apparently, he was a part of a large ship, one of the few good fighter pilots.
The flash changed “time” and he relived the evacuation of the ship. The escape pod release system where defective, so he took a fighter, and escaped.
He was apparently the only survivor.

His flashback ended there. At least he knew he was a pilot, and that his name was indeed what was written on the bracelet.
He put it back on, and fastened it as it should be.
Lil asked for his name, as he replied “Acery Phazim… Call me Ace” with a grin.
The computer replied. ”Registration complete.. Captain Ace”
This only made his grin grow further.
He was a fighter pilot; his ship blew up due to a malfunction in the hyper space engine. And he was the only survivor.
What he got instead, was a cruiser class ship, which was too high tech for its time as his own. A severe upgrade he thought as he grinned.

“Lil, direct me to the bridge” he commanded, as a strand of lights light up in the floor, a single line, moving slowly in the direction of the bridge.
His grin still on his face, he followed it.

Around 30 minutes later, he arrived. Apparently the ship where as long as he thought, and a few enervator systems where offline, so he had to climb.
As he arrived at the bridge, his eyes grew in size, slightly tearing in the edge.
It was gorgeous, it had way more systems, and a way better level of technology then the last ship he was on, and that was considered high tech as well.
Too bad for them, he thought as his grin came back.

Ace took the main chair, the captain’s chair, located on the 2nd floor of the bridge. Yes the bridge alone was large enough to have 2 levels.
Thought not as easy as ordering people around, he had full control over the whole ship.
Suddenly, another image popped in his mind; the password to his wrist devices.
He entered it, and got them working; apparently, they where high tech computers, capable of doing very much. The first thing he did was making it so that the ship’s computer could communicate with him through it, for times when he was not onboard.
The second thing he did was getting the ships systems online.
It was not only high tech; it also had several smart things made for it. For energy, it used a reactor, which managed to get energy from a sub space area, making it have close to unlimited power.
Another thing he loved was that the ship had things that Lil named “repair cubes”
These where small 10 x 10 x 10 cm cubes, that opened in the center, allowing the cubes to sprout legs and arms, along tools if needed.
Simply put, in space, where everything was without gravity, they would do all the mechanical needs. So that it would put a lighter strain on the crew.

After some clicks on the computer, he had found a planet that was deemed “livable”.
Though, in this region of space, the computer stated that there were several planets that had not yet made it to a “high tech” level, and was still in the medieval ages, and some were around the 21st century.

He set course towards the nearest one, hoping to find what he needed, mainly supplies.
Even thought the ship had a system to make things out of nothing. There were still things he needed. Like living companions, as a ship this size, where way too large for one man.

As Lil took over the flying, Ace started roaming around the ship, but not before uploading a schematics map over it, to the wrist devices, so that he would not get lost.

Chapter 2 - Reliving lost times

Ace wandered around the ship, meeting up with several of the repair cubes, apparently awaking the ship had initiated a self check.
He stopped one, and took it off the rail they were traveling along. Opening it he looked inside, there were a lot of useful tools. As they often worked in zero gravity, they did not need strong motors on the limbs, just enough to move them around.
Some of the tools inside had stronger motors, like the screw driver system in this one.
Ace’s mind started to think a little. And he took down another random cube, and opened that one as well. He smiled, his thoughts where confirmed, they where different. One where a screwdriver, one where a hammer, the others must be different tools as well, each one have a different specialty. He closed them, and put them back on the rail, a split second later they darted away with the rest.

As Ace was walking, he talked with Lil about the specs of the ship.
Apparently, there was a reason to why the ship where hidden way. It had technology that had already cracked the borders of the time on the planet it was made, though during the course of time it had become more conventional, though it was still high up there.
Like the transporter system, it was made so that within range, anything that could be identified with the sensors would be dematerialized, and rematerialized anywhere else, sadly shields would interrupt the lock on. The whole process would take under half a second.
Ace’s mind already started making ideas of what he could do with that.

Lil continued explaining:
The ship was surprisingly maneuverable for its size, and it had strong engines. Without the hyper drive, it could do approx 70% light speed, which is around 224000 km/s (Approx 139187 mp/h)
This makes a trip from earth, to the moon in a rough second.
Though, this was nothing compared to the hyper space engine. It had 2 modes; Interstellar, which only allows the ship to travel between stars in one galaxy, and intergalactic; which allows the ship to travel greater distances and at greater speed.
As normal engines accelerate the chip into that speed, using a lot of energy, this ship simply opens a ‘window’ to hyperspace, and enters it, instantly accelerating it to beyond light speed, using less energy, and making less strain on the craft.

Ace grinned largely due to this information. He loved the tech level of the ship, as it had a ton of more features. Such as room for a few hundred fighters, as well as some smaller cruisers or cargo ships.
The weapons, where enough to instantly go through the ‘today’ shields from the time of creation, and completely destroy the ship. That was the strongest cannon off course, sadly this system was slowed down due to the capacitors of the time so a charge up time where needed.
It had plenty of weaker ones.
The shields, where strong enough to withstand multiple hits of the strongest blaster it had. So this means this ship was fucking strong, and hard as hell to destroy.
Ace simply sighed; he understood why they did not use it as they made it, as it would shift the balance of power in the world where it originally belonged.
Though he wondered how they managed to make something like this, in such a time that was ages ago. He quickly ignored it, as he again realized that it was now his.

He used a few more hours to wander around the ship; it had plenty of quarters, as well as rooms for almost anything you would ever wish.
Some large, some smaller, every one of them sized accordingly to the crew size of the ship.

He felt like taking a shower, but wondering about the water, that was somewhat old or empty.
Lil interrupted him, explaining the materializing system, so water was suddenly of no issue.
So, the shower got changed to a bath, as he plotted the course on the wrist device.

He got there a few minutes later, and entered the room. Undressed and put the clothes in a washing machine thing, they would be done in a few minutes.
He looked at his wrist devices, and wondered if they where waterproof. The decision was made not to test it out, in case they did not take it.
The left one was taken off first, and as he held it in his left hand he stepped in a puddle. His feet lost the grip of the floor, and the wrist device was sent flying through the air.
*Plopp*
It landed in the bath. Uneasy, Ace walked over and picked it up out of the water. It was fine, so it was waterproof. He smiled to himself as he took them off anyway as he soaped himself before the bath.
Sinking into the water, it immediately felt like a different world. Even though his memory was gone, he did not have any uneasy feelings about it.
He remained there for some time, before he had to get out due to the heat as he was not used to it.
If nothing else, he was clean.

As he got to the bridge again, he was informed that he was almost at the location. So he sat back down in the captain’s chair, the one with control of everything on the ship, and began scanning the planet after initiating a high orbit.
As the ship was really large, he kept to the length outside the moon, and so that he would not block the sun to the planet, as that might arouse some suspicion.

The planet seemed to be caught in the medieval time, or at least close. It did not have a name, most likely due to the database being severely in the lack of updates. Instead it had been given a serial number, according to location and whatnots.
M-32L2 was what the computer had it named. Ace sighed; he should get the computed updated as he got close to a station.
He got out of the chair, and headed for the center door. Suddenly he stopped dead in his tracks. A long line of memories flashed in front of him. His family, his friends, his history. His life.
It came back in the matter of a second, thought it seemed like reliving his whole life.
He fell to his knees, his head spinning, and his head slammed into the floor.
Coming back to reality a few minutes later, his head stopped spinning, “That explains it” he stated to himself. The last ship, he was not a part of the crew, he was a captive. As they planned to move him between cells, he managed to get loose, and retrieve his wrist devices, which he apparently had named ‘compys’, mostly due to a joke to himself.
He used them to hack the computer system, causing an energy buildup in the hyper drive. In turn as this overloaded the engines it blew as a nuclear bomb.
Ace managed to escape on the fighter he was in; just that he hit his head in the cockpit as the blast wave sent him flying.

He got to his feet. He had done some rather questionable things in his past, and the reason he was ‘jailed’ by the men in the other ship, should remain unsaid. In either case, he was free now, and he had quite the ship.
His eyes looked out the window. The planet was clearly seen.
His mind worked differently now, all of his memories where back and he was again himself.
This did not change the reason to land, thought it spurred some new reasons. Ace headed back to the computer, and started loafing through it.
It appeared that the replication system could only replicate things it had already scanned.
So, it had water, and basic food that tasted crap.
This meant that Ace would need to get hold of the things he wanted it to be able to reproduce.
He would have to get some tasty food, as well as some more ‘interesting’ items.

“Lil, make me some clothes to wear on the planet, so that I won’t look like a doof.” He commanded, and the ship computer did as it was told. Within a second, a long robe formed in front of him. It was all that was needed, as it covered the rest of his clothes.

He put it on, and let his hair be on the outside, letting it loose, so that it was no longer in a ponytail. He looked at himself, it was the closest that he had seen on pictures taken by the computers cameras of the inhabitants.
He was as ready as he could be. He only needed one more thing; money.
It appeared that gold where as good a currency as any other. So Ace made Lil transport a reasonable amount from a castle treasury with the transporter, as they would not miss it.
After fastening it in a leather pouch under his robe, he was almost good to go.
“Lil, what weapons do you have scanned?” he asked, not wanting to go unarmed to the planet, just in case. “Scanning……… No weapons found” was the answer. It all made sense.
He sighed to himself, and detailed a combat knife enough so that she could make it. This was in turn fastened on the inside of his right leg.

Ace picked a village by random, and scanned it, awaiting the best time to beam down so that the inhabitants of the village would not see his transporting.
It looked clear; it seemed that ironically enough that the safest point for entry was close to a tree in the approx center of the village.
Ace instructed Lil to send him away, and the next thing he knew, he was a rough meter away from a large tree.
Around him, where a lot of village buildings, and a statue.
He walked over to the statue, and smiled. His smile was the type where one really doesn’t know what the meaning behind it is, be it good or bad. A tad wicked, and unique.
After that, he simply turned around, and walked away towards the center of the village.
Even thought the time, there were still plenty of traders around. So he approached one and started doing business. He got some food and spices, as well as several types of drinks. He jammed it all in a leather bag as he paid more than he was asked and left back to the tree.

As he got back, a small gang of bandits, no doubt aiming for his money, stopped him en route. He simply put the bag down, and smiled. His body light up and he disappeared.
He had pushed a button on the compy, which signaled Lil to transport him back.
This should make some interesting rumors to go around.

As he got back on the bridge, he put the bag in the floor, where a horde of cubes came and emptied it, taking the different parts to the scanner.
This meant that he would be having better food from now on, and could go back to what he was really aiming for.
Ace told Lil to set a course towards The Photos system. He had some things to do there.

He stood still in thought
Lucy., Im coming.”

Chapter 3 - Some minor technicalities.

Lil had plotted the course as asked, though on recommendation from her, Ace changed the course to the nearest space station.
Due to the fact that the universe is constantly expanding, coordinates might not be the same any more. The plotted course would take a rough few hour s in Intergalactic mode, Ace smiled slightly as he let Lil take over the piloting.

The ship turned slightly pointing its nose against its intended target, as it went through a system check on the hyper drive.
Everything checked out green, but it were recommended to have it all tuned up before using it over a prolonged time.
Almost as if space itself was ripped apart, a light glue/green smoke-like area opened in front of the ship, where it was then sucked in.
A flash later, and the ship seemed to be traveling inside a tunnel of green and blue light. Looking to his right hand, Ace saw the connections of one of the Implants he has.
The Pilot implant; The few ships that have this option makes all the controls link to his hand, that in turn is linked to the brain, allowing him to pilot with a significantly higher reaction time as well as a higher skill in general. He had a few more, but that was for another time.

“Captain, we have arrived at the coordinates” The speaker stated, waking Ace in the chair. He had apparently fallen asleep.
In front of the ship, was nothing? The space station, it was nowhere to be seen. Setting scanners to long range, it was found in the matter of seconds. It too had been drifting with the expansion of the universe.
The small difference in course was made, and he was now heading towards the station.
It was several times larger than the ship, and instead of having he slowly spinning wheel to make gravity, this one was actually a part of an asteroid, or rather built into one.
Having a large dome on one side, it had a low gravity, so one could walk there, as well as if one jumped, one would fly in a zero gravity zone.
About to request docking permission, he noted that he had yet to give the ship a name.
Pondering for a minute, he was hailed from the station.

“Unidentified ship on approach, state your name and purpose” Rang through the speaker. Apparently he did not have that much time to react.
Lil opened the channel for 2 way communication, and Ace stared. “This is the XCN-514-P requesting permission to dock” A minute went by until the man replied as expected ”Your ship is too large to allow in a dock, but you have been granted to use the outside docking station, follow the guide lights” Ace thanked him, and the channel was closed. 2 sets of lights were lit, pointing the course to the dock that he was granted access to.
Lil followed them docking the ship. Ace stretched, and made himself ready to board the station.
Waiting at the door Lil guided him to; he had mainly 2 things planned, getting the ship registered with a name and getting the navigational computer upgraded.

The door opened, and he was greeted by a robot, asking for his name and identification.
As asked, Ace stated his name, and swiped his right hand over a scanner, allowing the DNA to be read.
After this was confirmed, he continued through a set of doors, and ended up taking a railvator, which was not uncommon on space stations. It was simply a handle, mounted on a rail. In areas where one could become weightless, one could grab hold of it and it would pull you to the destination, or at least till the end of the rail.
This one ended up at the end of the hallway, in front of the door that lead to the dome. Entering it Ace headed to the nearest information desk. Ironically enough he had to follow information signs to get to the information desk, but he got there eventually.
Having enough time to think along the way, he needed a name for the ship, as XCN-514-P was hard to remember. He thought of a word in a foreign language he was thought once, and it fit the ship in some way. “Mugen”, a word for Infinity, and due to the nature of the energy supply, or how things could be created to an infinite amount onboard the ship, it made sense.
Getting the attention of the people in the desk, he asked his questions about the upgrading of the navigation computer, as well as how to get his ship registered.
Getting the computer upgraded was easy enough, simply to purchase the upgraded maps and the computer would be able to take it from there.
Being rather cheap, he got one on the spot. The registering, however, was slightly worse. He had to fill in a form, and wait for an inspection to check if the name was taken or the ship was in any illegal matters.

After a few hours, he had registered his ship, and the registration fee was higher than anticipated.
Sighing deeply, he headed back towards the ship, checking his balance on the way, which only made him sigh deeper.

Getting back onboard, as soon as he set foot back he commanded to set a course to the previously mentioned course, namely the Photos system. Though forgetting to actually do the upgrade, Lil recommended doing an upgrade first.
Holding the device in his hand, looking at it he felt sort of stupid.
Getting to the bridge, he got the thing plugged in, and after a virus scan it started upgrading itself.
Apparently there were a lot to change, as the ship had lain dormant for so many years.
A message of confirmation was displayed, along the vocal tones of Lil. Ace ordered the continuing the course now, Lil now accepted without problem as the system was now upgraded.

Sitting back in the chair with his feet on the console “Lil, this ship will not be known as XCN-514-P any further, it is now officially registered as ‘The Mugen’.”He stated, as he grinned to himself.
Lil acknowledged the change, and as the ship for distance from the station, the hyperspace window was opened, and the path for the new destination had started.

So, what do you think?

Does the "Mugen" have a meaning? Like, it's word meaning in English or any language?

Also, the man character in the beginning reminded me of a Sephiroth type person in his clothes color and hair.

Had you been writing this for a while or was it juse 3 chapters you did one day?

No, I have been writing now and then, when I write like this it I complete 1 chapter a time, so this is only 3 times I were in a writing mood.
All in all, I think I have used like an hour or so for the whole writing. Not counting waiting time to come up with names ^^

If you have yet to read the 3rd chapter, here is the meaning of, and reason for, the word Mugen
The word Mugen, is a Japanese word that means the following: Infinnite/Infinnity, dream and fantasy.
So the reason for Mugen, is more then one reason for me, but as stated in chapter 3, Ace chose it for the fun combination of Infinnity and how hte ship can create stuff.

Chapter 4 is complete. And I still would like some feedback on the whole thing.
Please don't ask questions about anything in the story, until you have read it all as it will most likely be answered there.

Chapter 4 – The Hunter.

The ship was jerked into hyperspace, and once again it found itself in a green-blue tunnel. Ace was sitting in the pilot’s chair, with his feet on the console, thinking to himself.
“Lil?” he stated with a question in mind. “Can your repair cubes fix, or rather, tune up the fighter I was in when I got here?” She did not directly reply at once. Scanning…….. Affirmative” She apparently had to scan the fighter, to see if the tech was compatible. It seems that even how high tech this ship was when it was abandoned, it was not too far of today’s standards. Without waiting for the command, the repair cubes had already swarmed over to the fighter, tuning up the engines as well as refilling the energy and fuel supply. Though Ace forgot to mention it, they started fixing the life support as well.

“How long until we get there?” Ace asked in his sleeplike position. ”ETA is 1 week, 4 days and 14 hours”
Ace simply laughed, he knew it would take time, but this was too much, they had to make stops along the way or he would die of boredom before they got there.
“What is the closest space station from this location?” Ace asked, hoping for some action in-between the jumps. ”Ships long rage scanners are offline during a hyperspace jump.” Was the answer he got. Sighing to himself, he already knew this, while in hyperspace the ship is actually no longer physical matter, so only the short range sensors would give rough estimates. “Base an assumption of speed and heading” Ace commanded, where Lil acknowledged, and started a quick thought process. ”The closest based on calculations, will be an outlaw station.” Ace opened his eyes; these were never on any official maps. He grinned to himself, either Lil had hacked some systems, or she had an interesting map from before Ace upgraded the computer, which she most likely just mane calculations based on the changes, and kept both maps in a ‘today state’.
“How well suited is this ship in a battle against most ships today? Use information based on what you have seen after I became captain.” He commanded. ”Rodger………. Based on scans made at last space station, The Mugen is at a completely different level.” Those were just the words Ace wanted to hear.
“Drop out of hyperspace not too close, nor too far, from the station” he grinned. “Raise shields as soon as possible” he added, as this was not his first time at an outlawed station. ”Rodger”.

Ace awaited in glee, to see how this would work out.
The tunnel ended, and they found themselves In the midst of black space. As ordered, the shields were raised. An oval shape of dark yellow color flashed an instant before disappearing to signal this.
Though, to Ace’s surprise, he did not get to test out the power of the Mugen this date. The station had been blown up, there were nothing left of it. Well, if one could count the pieces and wreckage that littered the area a station it would, but it was not a station no more.
“Sca*” Ace was going to order a scan of the area, but Lil apparently had that covered as she interrupted his order. ”No life signs in the area, no ships nearby, no apparent dangers.” Ace smiled, this AI was better than most today, due to the fact that the today ones did nothing unless ordered. This one seemed to operate on a logical level at least.
“Scan for usable items. Non damaged parts, fuel canisters, weapons and things of the like. Keep the shields up, just in case” Ace ordered as he walked over towards the window and looked out. ”Rodger, beginning detail scan now.” She replied.

Ace stood at the window for s few minutes, thinking what could have done this. “Lil, what could have done this?” he asked, hoping for a reply. ”Impossible to say, too little evidence to support any theory”. Ace did not give up. “Speculate, based on current knowledge.”
”Rodger” The reply stated. ”Speculation complete…. Most likely based on scans, are either a large internal explosion that caused a chain reaction. Or a very high damage output cannon through the center of the station.”
Ace got his answer, but it still did not put out his curiosity.
”Scan complete, found various items. Materializing them in the hangar for collection and scan.” Ace loafed back to the captain’s chair. “List items on main screen” he said main screen in the hopes that there was a large one, so that he did not have to read it in one on the consoles.
”Rodger.” She replied, as a screen formed in front of the window, apparently it was driven by some holographic systems.
The list was expansive, various weapons that no doubt had been on the bodies of the outlaws, or in their ships littered the area.
There were no usable ship parts, nor anything very interesting. Though if nothing else, he now had some weapons.

He sunk together in the chair, putting his feet back in the console. “After collection, set course for the next station along the road to Prolan” the order sounded.
”Rodger”

After some minutes of collecting, the ship turned around, and again entered the gate to hyperspace.
Ace sighed deeply, this was boring as hell. Nothing happened, and all he got was a few weapons.
“I’m going to bed, guide me” he ordered, and as he had completed the sentence, a stream of lights lit up on the floor, guiding him to the captain’s room.
He did not care for how to looked at the moment, it had a bed and was clean, he did not care for more as he simply lied himself on it and slumbered away.

“Report!” sounded a gruff man’s voice. “Sir! The building is occupied by a group of roughly 40 people, where 12 of them are hostages; this is based on the reports from initial scans from the scouts.” A soldier replied to the man.
Behind the man that reported was a large office building, some 12 stories tall, which had been taken over. Apparently the owners had been doing some shady underground business, where as people had returned to take revenge. “Damn“ cursed the man in front of the 20 or so men in the military squad before him. The man was larger both in height and width then Ace, he wore a military camouflage getup, and a helmet with a visor. The main thing that was different from him and the group of people that Ace was a part of was the markings of a superior officer. A grin formed on the officers lips. “Phazin!” he commanded, where as Ace took a step out from the group, wearing the same getup as the rest, he saluted with his right hand to the officer. “Sir!” The officer turned towards him as Ace too his hand back to his side. The officer still had his grin on his lips, as he put his right and on Ace’s right shoulder. “Why not show them why we gave you the name ‘Hunter’, eh?”
A second after the officer suggested this; some quiet laughter escaped the soldiers in the background.
“Are you sure about that, Sir?” Ace asked “Don’t you want them a*” he was interrupted by the officer lifting his hand, and slapping it back on his shoulder. “No worries Phazin, just leave the hostages alive.” He stated as his grin grew larger.
“As you wish… Sir” Ace replied, as his posture changed. He did not salute, nor did he walk as a soldier tended to. He was relaxed, his body moved as he felt based on instinct, which made it seems like he was walking on a boat.
“Gather around lads!” the officer stated, as he went into a small tent like place, which had several screens that were hooked into the survailience network of the building. “You will now see where Acery Phazin, our expert in guerrilla warfare and infiltration, got his name from” he stated, as the group ignored military posture and rushed into the room.
Ace walked towards the main door, he took off his helmet and dropped it to the ground where it made a hollow plastic sound. His white hair fell down to the shoulder length he had, and he took off the jacket he had on, revealing a thin black turtleneck shirt.
He got closer to the door and crouched; a grin grew on his face, a grin of joy.
Suddenly, in a single movement, he had started running without a sound and jumped in through a broken window that was shattered during the fight earlier.
The lot changed their view to the cameras. The specialist monitoring them pointed to the screen that had the camera in the hallway outside the room Ace jumped in. And all focused on this camera.

On the screen, suddenly a man vanished from the view, and as his partner looked to the side, a shadow pounced on him taking him out of the camera view.
Ace was gone for a minute, until one of the soldiers pointed at a camera. Ace had moved up a story and had already started on that floor. No bodies were found on the cameras, although they had 2 confirmed kills.
This went on for some time, and people disappeared from the camera views one by one. Until there were only 1 room left, the leader and his 2 bodyguards were in said room.
The soldiers watching this were in complete awe “No doubt Ace is excused from sneaking and assassination training” one soldier stated, where as the lot nodded and the officer got a proud grin on his face.
2 screens were the main focus now, on the right one, Ace was standing completely upright outside a door, whereas on the left screen was the room he was standing outside, it had the leader, 2 bodyguards and 4 hostages.
Ace looked around for a second, before he placed his left hand on the wall a few times, moving it back and forth. The hand stopped, and the camera showed a twisted grin on Ace’s face.
Aces left hand started to glow for a second, then a large blast could be heard from outside, and the hallway was clouded by smoke. At the same time, the lights in the hallway as well as the room inside went dark. “Night vision mode!” the officer screamed at the specialist, as gunfire was heard from the outside. A second later the night vision got turned on, showed both bodyguards on the floor, one missing his head, the other having a knife standing deep in his skull.
Ace was by the leader; his left hand was in the leader’s forehead, where the right one held the gun pointed away from his body. Ace could be seen mumbling a sentence, where the camera faded out for a second as the blast was heard.
As the camera came back to focus, Ace had begun walking out, and the leader was missing the back of his head, and a hole in his forehead.
A minute later, Ace came walking out the main door, covered on blood. He stopped in front of the officer, not saluting or anything. “Mission complete…. Sir..”
The group shouted out various words of how awesome then thought it was.

“Captain Ace, we are arriving in 3.24 minutes” A voice stated.
Ace opened his eyes, as he looked to the cold gray ceiling. “That dream again, eh?” he muttered. It was not the first time he was reliving memories in dreams.
He got to his feet and shook his head. “I’m on the way” he stated as he started walking. “Rodger” Lil replied.

Ace loafed to the bridge and soon found himself exiting hyperspace. “Radio for docking permission, and dock as you get permission” Ace ordered. “Rodger” Lil replied.
This station was of the common type, where as it was several times larger than The Mugen, it had only external docks for anything larger then fighters. It was of the classic shape of a large cylindrical shape, with several spinning parts to make gravity. “Welcome to Outer Brush, Mugen” the speaker announced. Ace got out of the chair, and started loafing over towards the door that he was lead to, as the time he would use to walk there, were the same as the time that was needed to dock.
The door opened and Ace started walking, going through the same identification process as always.
“Keep the fort, Lil” he stated to the ships computer before the door closed. “Rodger” her voice replied through his left bracer.

Interesting so far... I'd like to see if there is a challenge to The Mugen in this universe or to see if Ace faces any type of challenge later on in the series.

*Waits for Chapter Five*

Chapter 5 – Wut?

Taking a railvator, as they are rather handy, Ace mainly decided to stay here for an hour or so. As there are things that one feel for, but a ship cannot create.
Ace had a sly grin on his face as the handle came to a stop. As his feet ended back on the floor he started walking towards the nearest information board.
“hmm…. Let’s see here..” he muttered as he looked across the information tab. “Ah, ‘ere we go!” he stated loudly as he found a name with the word ‘Bar’ behind it. “Oh, how long it has been” he muttered as he walked towards the bar, that was closer than he expected, no more than around a single corner to get to it.
Taking in the sight for a second as his body prepared for it, he walked in the door.
The bar had a nice atmosphere; it had dimmed lights and a jukebox in the background. Not to mention the waitresses in an almost nonexistent miniskirt.
Shaking his head, he went over to a single-seat table in a corner, right from the entrance. Waving one of the waitresses over, he ordered some whiskey.
“heh, its odd how far this thing have spread” he muttered as he looked at a whiskey logo. No one was sure who came up with it, but it was a drink from Terra, the initial human planet.
Ace got the taste of it years ago; his old friend introduced him to it.
“Here you go, Sir” the sweet voice of the waitress stated as she put down a bottle and a glass. Ace simply smiled a lewd smile as he thanked her.

Outside The Mugen, the lights in the hallway blacked out. The security camera switched to night mode and saw nothing. The systems showed that the power grid was down.
The robot at the entry that scans people turned around to see if it could see anything, most likely due to a programmed precaution.
The camera in the robot suddenly shut down, as a hand yanked out a small cord from its backside.
“Bah, cheap programming” a female voice stated as she turned around, plugging the same wide into a port at the panel beside the door to the Mugen.
“oh? Is this it?” she muttered, as her fingers moved fluently over the keyboard of a laptop. “….Scanners….Security protocols….Temporary memory…..Door locks… Check!” she muttered, and as she stated the last word the door opened, she yanked out the cable as she closed the laptop and disappeared in through the door.

“AAH!” Ace shouted out, as he had downed the first small glass of the brownish liquid. It had been quite some time. Looking at the ceiling, he remembered the old times. His first pilot training, it went to hell. He grinned as the thoughts came back.

“Ace?.... Acery Phazin!?” a voice stated from the door, looking towards it Ace’s eyes widened. HE was locked in awe induced silence, thought he wanted to speak he could not. “Its been some time, eh!” he man sated. Ace broke free of his silence “Lefty, what are the odds?” he replied.
It was an old friend from years back. He was about as tall as Ace; he wore dark brown pants, black shoes and a dark green vest. Over all this he had a dark brown leather-like jacket.
“I see you cur your hair” Ace stated to him. “heh-“ Lefty started. “-Not anyone can be as girly as you” he grinned as he nudged him in the side. “Oh, and this comes from the person that had at least the same as I have now, eh?” Ace grinned back as he waved for a waitress. “Another glass!” he shouted to the one that reacted.
Lefty sat down and took the bottle. “Whisky, eh?” he stated in a lower tone of voice. The waitress put a glass on the table, smiled as she went away.
“So, what have you been up to? I see you have a right arm now” Ace asked as he poured in the glass to Lefty.
“Yeah-“ Lefty answered as he lifted up the hand in eye level and looked into the palm. “-I had to do some jobs for Eric to get it.”
“Eric?!” Ace halfway shouted, “is he still alive?”
Lefty took his hand back down and looked at Ace. He grabbed the glass and downed it in a single move. “Ahh…” he stated as the glass slammed into the table. “Yes, he still does.” He grinned at Ace.
“That tenacious bastard.” Ace grinned. “I thought that shot to his head would kill him”
“Well, apparently he took precarious, he got a durable metal plate grafted to his skull some time ago” he explained as he pointed his right index finger at his head. Ace broke down in laughter, where Lefty joined him.
“So?” Ace started.
“So what?”
“What else can that arm do? Knowing you it does more than just be an arm” Ace stated as he filled the glass again with a grin.
“Heh, you still know me, eh?” Lefty answered as he lifted his glass to stop the flow of whisky. “Yes, it has some… let’s say. Built in features” he stated with a suggestive grin.
Ace simply smiled as he took a sip from his glass. “So, what are you doing now?” Ace asked.
“Well, I got a j*” *Beep… beep…. Beep*
Lefty was stopped by a beeping noise from his arm. He lifted his hand and opened his palm. From his palm a small holograph displayed a timer on count down, currently showing roughly 10 minutes.
“Oh… no…. Don’t tell me..” Ace stated as he put the glass on the table, looking the count down with large eyes.
“yeah…” Lefty smiled with a clear forced smile. “Im behind schedule… How did you arrive here?” he asked, directly to the point. “Lefty…. 1 question..”
“Yes?”
“Do you still work as a demolition expert for hire?” Ace asked while looking at the floor with his head dipped forward and his hand about to crush the glass.
“heh….. Yeah.. Do you mind if we cut this short?” he smiled, still forced.
“Waitress!” Ace shouted. “Im leaving the money here” he stated, as he left the money for it all on the table.
He grabbed the bottle as he put the cap back on. “I have a ship” Ace stated as he started walking. “You have a shi*” Lefty was interrupted. “Knowing you, I’d like to have it FAR from here in 4 minutes” Ace stated as he started running outside the door to the bar.

“LIL!” Ace shouted thorough his bracer. ”Yes?”.
“Have the ship ready to disembark as soon as possible, and be ready to open the doors as soon as you see me coming. Request what is needed” Ace shouted, still running down the hallway. ”Rodger”
Ace had Lefty in his heels, running what they were capable of, which was rather fast in this low gravity environment.
“How long did you prepare for this job?!” Ace shouted to Lefty. “I had 2 weeks to pr*”
“WHAT!?” Ace interrupted Lefty again. “2 WEEKS!” he shouted in terror.
He sped up, as he gained distance from the door to Mugen. “Lil!” Ace shouted.
“Fuck the permissions, as soon as I am on the ship, close the door and get far away!” he shouted through the bracelet. ”But captain, we have*” Ace interrupted her. “I don’t care if you have to rip yourself free” he shouted as he jumped through the open door crashing into the wall.
“HIT IT!” he shouted a second before Lefty crashed into him.
”Rodger”

The door slammed close, and Lil disengaged what parts she could but they were still secured.
Doing as she was ordered, Lil accelerated enough to make the arms holding the ship secure rip apart, setting them free.
“Get us out of here, FAST!” Ace shouted as he looked to Lefty’s palm clock.
*6….5….4….3….*
“Oh…. Fuck” Ace whispered to himself. “SHIELDS UP!” he screamed, as both he and Lefty grabbed hold of a nearby rail.
”Rod*”

It was silent for a second, then the shockwave hit.
The whole ship was shaking as if one were inside a paint can shaker. Both Ace and Lefty were thrown back and forth as the Mugen were thrown away from the station.
A minute later, as the shockwave had extended past them, Ace and Lefty for to their feet wobbly and tired. “Nice, eh? What do you th*” Lefty was interrupted by seeing only a flash of Ace’s right fist before it all went black for a second.
The lack of gravity made him fly backwards several meters before slamming into a wall.
Letting out a single blood filled cough, he wiped his mouth. “I guess I deserved that” Lefty grinned.
“Yes…. Yes you do” Ace smiled back.
Ace turned towards the hallway to the bridge. “Lil, damage report” The command from his lips stated. ”Status… Gathering….. Shields are down, sensors are down 30% external only. Weapons are working but main gun is offline… Life support is green but artificial gravity is out. Minor hull breach, no apparent danger… Ship status Yellow” Lil answered through the speakers.
Ace sighed of relief as he started to kick off the walls, getting towards the bridge. “Can you fix it yourself?”
”Affirmative… ETA on repair…. 4 hours” Lil’s reply sounded, as scores of the small cubes were scattered all around.
“I’m making you pay for this” Ace stated to Lefty as they got to the bridge. Lefty were silenced in awe, not a word escaped his lips.
“I know” Ace grinned, as he strapped himself in the captains chair.

“What?” the females voice lead in the storage room she had stowed away. She found herself in the proximity as a million of other things. Apparently a room designed to keep random stuff were not the best of hiding spots.
Her long brown hair was everywhere, making it almost impossible to see anything. Grabbing her backpack that was floating near a wall, she checked her stuff. The bag was still closed so that had no problems; her utility belt still remained closed so no items missing there. Her brown leather closed was still intact.
She sighed in relief as she opened and checked her backpack. The computer was undamaged, as were the other items.
Grabbing hold of a piece of string that was floating, she tied her hair in a ponytail so that she could easier see what was going on. Her skin changed color from a yellowish towards a pale pinkish human skin color. She sighed in relief again as she remained floating round.

“Here” Ace stated, as he sent the bottle flying in zero gravity towards his friend. “Don’t chug it all down” he laughed as Lefty got hold of the bottle.
“You still after Lucy, eh?” Lefty asked before he opened the cap and managed to drink some.
“Yes, I won’t stop“ Ace replied as he looked through the window on the damage Lefty had done to the space station.
Lefty sighed. “Why not give up on Lucy, that thing won’t do you any good” he stated, as he sent the bottle back.
“Lil, how many were on board that station?”
”Based on logs, approximately 11’300”
Ace turned towards Lefty. “Well, mind explaining this for me?” he asked as he opened the bottle.
Lefty sighed as he looked out the window. “There is not much to explain. It was a job, and you know how it works”
Ace sighed after taking a sip, replacing the cap he shook his head. “You’re still paying for the damages to my ship”
“Sure, sure” He replied with a smile.

A few hours later, Lil woke the 2. ”Repairs are 86% complete, the ship is now green for hyper space travel.”
Ace opened his eyes barely; apparently the alcohol had taken effect. “you know where to go” he muttered as he looked towards Lefty, he was sleeping. Ace closed his eyes and did the same.
”Rodger” Lil replied, as she returned the Mugen to hyperspace.

“This should be enough” She muttered, as she opened the door, checking both ways in the hallway with a mirror she found before kicking out from the shed she was in.
Taking out her laptop, she pushed a few buttons in a quick motion. “So... that way” she stated, as she lifted her head towards the hallway to the bridge.
Closing the laptop, she exchanged it for a contraption in her bag, looking like a gun just that it was not.
Kicking off the wall, she headed towards the bridge, which she found in the matter of a minute or 2.
Inhaling deeply, then exhaling she looked at the button to open the door manually.
*beep.*
The door opened, and instead of an alert crew, she found 2 sleeping men.
Sighing in a slight disappointment, she kicked towards the one in a chair to the left first.
“Sweet dreams” she whispered, as she put the ‘barrel’ to his neck and pushed the trigger.
*tsssssssshhhf*
A substance was injected to Lefty’s bloodstream.
Looking over towards the one dressed black, she gently kicked off towards him. She put the barrel at his neck as well, but Ace opened his eyes. “huh?” he muttered as he saw into the eyes if a girl ge could not remember seeing before. “WHAT TH-*” *tsssssssshhhf*
His eyes closed again slowly. “-e fuck…..” And everything went black.

Chapter 6 – The pilot.

Ace awoke, looking around himself, though his vision is nothing other than a blur he at least managed to think.
He wondered who did this to him, he had a vague image, but it was not enough to state anything.
Trying to get up, he noted that he was tied, his feet all the way to the knees, and his arms behind his back.
“Heh, smart move” he muttered in the air towards his capturer.
“huh, that you Ace?” Lefty’s voice asked from a corner. Aces vision had cleared enough to see they were in a random room, both tied up.

“How do you work this thing, it was not that hard to hack you in the beginning” The female stated as she was writing with great speed on her laptop, which was connected to a small box, that in turn was connected to one of the computer consoles.
”You will not get any further” Lil’s voice stated to the hacker. ”I have activated my firewalls, there is no way you can do anything more now. Return controls to me and let out the Captain” Lil commanded, but to no avail. The hacker just ignored her and continued what she was doing.

Both Ace and lefty had their vision back, though feeling slightly dizzy. “What happened?” Lefty asked. “There is someone else onboard my ship.” Ace stated as he was looking around the room with a serious look in his face. “Someone else?” Lefty asked while floating upside down from Ace’s position.
“Yes, someone else that injected us with a substance, most likely a tranquilizer” Ace stated as he looked at Lefty. “Hey, how is that arm of yours?” he grinned.
“It does not work, I tried it already. Whoever is on your ship, managed to turn off the interface chip in my brain” he stated, forcing out a smile.
Ace laughed. “Your arm actually got hacked?”
Lefty simply grinned. “Well, it was Eric that paid for it, or it might actually be some experiment of his for all I know” he stated still grinning.
“Well, that sounds as him” Ace added, joining Lefty in grinning.
“In any case, we have to get out of here; I’m taking back my ship” Ace stated as he nudged his feet towards Lefty. “I still have a small dagger in my right boot, use that” he stated.
Lefty did what he could to get his hands on the dagger, inching towards Ace’s boot.

The small cube that was between the console and the girl’s computer suddenly exploded, it ended up in several parts on the floor as it let out some sparks and smoke. “Whoa...” she let out as she looked at it. “You certainly are more high tech then I estimated” she stated as he skin faded from a yellow color into a pinkish skin color.
”Affirmative, now restore my controls and release the Captain.” Lil commanded, but her words fell on deaf ears.

“Got it” Lefty stated, as he had managed to grasp the handle of the knife, immediately cutting his restraints before he did the same for Ace. Handing the knife back to Ace, he grinned. “What do you say, want to take your ship back?” he grinned.
Ace’s face remained serious. “Off course, it is mine ya know. No way in hell I’m letting it go that easy”
First now Ace noted that his bracelet computers were gone, so he could not contact Lil.
“Lil!?” he tried to reach her, but no response.
Pushing off the wall, ending up at the key panel, he attempted to open the door which failed. “Heh, smart enough to turn of power, eh?” he stated, as he forced the knife between the metal panel and the wall, force opening it to get access to the wiring inside.

“ARGG!” he girl shouted out as she finally gave up on the hacking, at least temporary. “Why can’t you be as easy as the last ship?”
”Because this is not a normal ship, this is the Mugen” She replied as the screen of the laptop flashed and turned black. “No! Wait, what?” the girl shouted out. ”I did the same to you, as you did to me, I took over your computer, I encrypted the hard drive before turning it off. You are helpless.” Lil stated, she was no regular computer, thought outdated.
“No! but… no..” the girl stated as she tried to take usage of her computer again. “..you took over the wireless….” She muttered as she closed the screen down with a sad look.

“Finally!” Ace stated, as a spark in the panel made the door open. Immediately after, he pulled himself out, careful enough to check the hallway first, and then kicked off the walls heading towards the bridge.

Getting there, it seemed the door to the bridge was not locked, Ace grinned.
Looking at Lefty, he used his right hand to show 3 fingers, and then changed it to 2, then to 1.
Both nodded as the last finger was removed, as Ace pushed the button, both kicked in aiming to take on whatever force was inside.
But both stopped themselves in the first object they could grab a hold of. In there were no group of people, no small army, but a little girl.
Ace slapped his face with his left palm. “You got to be shitting me” he muttered, as Lefty burst out in laughter.
The young girl took the same pistol like object from her backpack, and kicked off towards Ace.
Aiming for his body, Ace simply grabbed a hold of the tranquilizing pistol and kicked her off, sending her flying into a wall. “So..” Ace started. “You mind explaining to me?” he stated it as a question, but the message behind it was crystal clear. “…. Yes” he girl stated as she looked into the floor, moping.

Things were explained, as she clearly did not want to die, or worse, she spilled it all.
Her name was Telluah, and she was aiming to get rich, so she took usage of her superior computer abilities to hack her way onboard a ship capable of hyperspace travel. She aimed to get somewhere then leave the crew in the drugged state they were in after she took over, then just leave.
Though, Lil proved to be somewhat more tenacious then she had anticipated.

Ace simply grinned. “Lil, can you fix yourself?” he asked. ”Negative” was the reply.
“Ok, here is the deal” Ace started. “You will fix everything that you did, and I will consider your fate at that time. Before you say anything, I will mention that your chances of being blown out the nearest airlock will decrease the more you cooperate” he stated as his left hand glowed slightly, and a second later the tranquilizer exploded in his hand. “… yes” she moped again.
She got her computer back, Lil unlocked it, and after a few minutes everything was back, even the internal scanners. She then made Lefty’s arm work again. “The manufactor was sloppy” She simply mumbled to Lefty.
After she was done, Ace ordered her to release every item she had on her, save her clothes. She did as ordered.
“Frisk her” Ace grinned at the girl, who shouted out various sentences on how this was sexism. “Umm. Lil has internal scanners, no?” Ace smiled, which made Telluah to shut up. ”Rodger… Scanning… Complete; she has no objects on her body, save the clothes she wears.” Lil confirmed.
“Good girl” Ace stated with a smile. “So, what to do with you…” he added after, as his smile faded into a serious face.
“I wonder how much she will fetch on the market.” Lefty stated. The girl seemed to panic as Ace considered it. “Hmm. I’m not sure; it has been a while since I was in those parts. But I’m guessing at least 10’000.”
Telluah’s eyes widened. “You… You aren’t considering this, are you?” she asked in panic towards Ace.
“I don’t see why not-” Ace started. “-Considering the things you did, I could easily turn you in, but it is of no profit to me” he stated, as he started thinking.
Lefty broke in. “she is not that bad looking, Im sure that we could squeeze out 20’000 for her. Besides she is still young” He stated towards Ace.
The young girl’s skin had turned to a yellow color a long time ago, though flashing of blue now and then.
“So!” Ace started, startling the young girl. “What can you do to make up for this, so that I don’t sell you to some rather nasty men?” he grinned towards her.
“I….. I……. Don’t know” she ended up muttering out as she sunk together, her skin fading to a blue color.

As Ace was in thought, Lil broke in. “Incoming ships, 2 o’clock low.” Ace was torn out of his thinking state. “Turn the ship against them, shields up” he stated in a semi calm manor. ”Negative, shields are still down.” Lil added, which made Ace’s eyes widen. “O…k…. What are they doing?”
”They are charging weapons.”
“Fuck…” Ace stated. “Can I assume this ship has an interface for a pilot’s implant?” he stated, as he looked around the bridge.
”Affirmative, activating ship to pilot interface.” Just as she stated this, a small part of the right armrest of the chair changed, it opened and revealed a small white orb, just larger then a man’s fist.
Ace grinned, “Lil, charge main cannon, and give me some smaller arms until that time. Let’s see what this baby can do.” He stated, as he placed his right hand on the interface orb.

The scared girl’s skin changed color in a flash, from the blue it was to a clear yellow.
“What…. What is he doing?” she mainly asked herself towards Ace.
Lefty smiled as he sat back.
“Ace is a pilot and a good one at that.” He stated explaining.
“The Pilots interface in ships that have it is a small white orb that is just larger then a normal man’s fist. It works with the 2 implants that a pilot might have; the one in his hand is used to make contact with the one in his brain. Where his hand can make manual movement, the one in his brain will display a HUD, along some radar info. This makes it able for him to move the ship by thought, along some minor things with this actual right hand. In such a case, the left hand is often used to control the computer. Though it system is useless unless the user has a pilot’s implant, and the required training to make it work.” He smiled, Lefty liked to explain things now and then.

“Can you shut up, if you have to talk, help me with the radar, will ya?” Ace broke in.
”Pilots interface, online.” Lil stated, as Ace’s implants activated, and the white orb began to glow.
”Enemy ship count: 5.. One cruiser class, 4 shuttle class… Cruiser class is deploying fighters” Lil explained as Ace’s radar HUD activated.
“Lefty” Ace commanded. “You take remote control over some fighters” he ordered, as his fingers fluently slid across the keyboard, launching a small squad of remote controlled fighters.
The fighters looked somewhat like a droplet in mid-fall, though slightly thinner then wider. It has the same purple color as the Mugen, and they were flying with the pointy part in the front.
“Will do” Lefty answered as he got out from his relaxed position, and yanked out a wire from his robot arm, plugging it in an interface port in the computer in front of him. “Lil” Lefty started. “Interface with my connection, as if it were a model X44, activate remote control.” He commanded to the computer. ”Rodger….Connecting.. Remote control online.”
“Good” Lefty stated, as it connected to his robotic arm, which was in turn directly linked to his brain. Though his brain implant was buggy at best, and he was not as trained as Ace.

The Mugen suddenly jerked to the side, sending Telluah rolling across the floor. One could almost hear the missiles that flew past.
“Lil, boost sensitivity up by 0.3” Ace commanded referring to the interface. ”Rodger.”
The Incoming fighters sent out from the enemy was en route towards the Mugen, were the remote controlled fighters that Lefty had was on an intercept course.
The shuttle class ships headed around the fighters towards the Mugen where the cruiser class simply kept firing from the distance, Ace had to do some cutting edge dodging between the shots to stay alive.
As soon as the shuttles were in firing range, Ace let out a salve of shits from the guns he had available, he grazed one and one exploded, sending shrapnel into one of the others taking out a total of 2 shuttles.
The fighters were exploding one after another, both sides taking damage.
Ace maneuvered past the shuttle, ironically enough the Mugen were more maneuverable then the smaller shuttles.
Sending out a salve from an aft turret, the shuttle exploded in shrapnel filled light.
Suddenly the Mugen shook. ”Taking hits, gun turrets offline, Hull taking damage, sealing off damaged sections.”
Ace neared the cruiser class ship, though without any weapons to use as the main gun was still charging.
”Enemy ship charging main cannon.” Lil explained.
“Well, this sucks..” Ace muttered, as he prepared to see if he could dodge it.

The closer the Mugen got, the more beat up it became, the hull breaching in several locations.
“Fire a wire guided harpoon into the hull of it!” a voice screamed. Turning towards it Ace and Lefty noted that the girl had taken the liberty to take over a console, shouting a command to Lil. “Do it!” Ace agreed, as he doubted that Lil would do anything she commanded.
The harpoon was launched from the Mugen’s left side, digging itself deep in the hull of the enemy.
Keeping slack on the wire, so as not to snap it, Ace slowed down the ship. As he did this, the girls’ skin faded between a pale pinkish color and a deeper red, as her fingers moved with great speed over the keyboard.
“Say Good Night” She stated with a grin, as she hit the last butting in a boasting manor. As soon as the button was pushed, the enemy ship powered down. The built up energy in the main gun was useless, as were every other computer controlled part of the ship.
Ace grinned “Status in main gun?” towards Lil.
”99% complete, time left is 15 seconds.”
Ace grinned as he released the harpoon and gained quite a distance from the enemy ship.

“Fire main cannon”

A large blast was sent from the Mugen, the whole ship shook as the extreme bright light left the main cannon. It had the form of a droplet with a tracing effect, as the lump of energy found its way towards the enemy vessel.
As it hit, the enemy ship imploded slightly, before exploding in a huge explosion. Its hull ripped apart till toothpicks, its engines and weapons started secondary explosions, which furthered the destruction. A large blue colored shockwave extended from zero point, though luck had it that Ace had moved the Mugen out of range. So the damage from the blast was minimal.

Ace was grinning in such a glee, that one would almost assume him to take damage from it. Lefty set the remaining objects previously known as fighters on auto-pilot, back to the bays where they belong as he disconnected himself and sat back in the chair. Telluah found herself being both annoyed and proud, as she was a part of this but Lil had locked her out of the terminal for safety precaution.

Ace looked at the young girl “I’d say that would repay your dept” with a smile. She just smiled back as her skin returned to the pale ‘idle’ color.
“Close as always, eh?” Lefty grinned towards Ace, only he knew if it was an insult or a compliment.
