The Journey of Inner Hellfire
40 years ago the mighty demon Onyxfire entered the human world through the hellpoint, during this time on the human realm he burned numerous villages and raped countless women throughout his youthful rampage, many women died bearing an evil being, however one woman: A holy priestess had the divine protection to counter the evil within her and bore twins. One was born naturally, with light brown hair and normal weight, the other however was light blonde and bafflingly bore early signs of puberty, like his age had accelerated beyond human reckoning. As they both matured, Schrodinger retained innocent features and was often the helping person while his brother, Martin would often be in fights with the village children, often attacking his 'goody-goody' brother and even sleeping around after dark. As he grew older he began to control his 'juvenile' urges and control himself.
At the age of 22 they both became the solo protectors of the village temple, as holy knights. They were the most skilled fighters in the village and were able to fend off any bandit militia that turned up. As the years went by everything was peaceful, however on their 25th birthday a hooded hermit with a ravenhead staff appeared at the doors, asking to speak with the sons of the holy priestess. After introducing themselves to her they led her to her house, after dimming the candlelight she spoke. "I presume you know of how you came to be?" The two brothers nodded in confirmation, sitting themselves down in chairs. "Well do you know about your father?" Martin spoke up at this point "Yes, he was a nobleman from the east, he bre children with our mother 3 years before being brutally attacked by bandits". The Hermit Woman shook her head "That is a lie". The boys then looked slightly confused "What do you mean?" they both asked. "WhatI mean is, your mother was brutally raed by a demon from inner hellfire." Martin stood up, incredibly angry now "Do you have any proof of these events? Something to prove your words are not false?" Martin's hand was grabbing the hilt of his blade now, shaking with anger while supressing it in his words. "I cannot provide any physical evidence, however, why not ask him yourself? You Martin, seem to be especially brimming with his power, why not go to hellpoint and enter? I doubt he'll bar you entry, hellpoint lies a short trek down south, if you hurry you could make it by nightfall". The Hermit Woman then rose and slowly walked toward the door, Schrodinger and Martin followed her as she pushed her staff into the ground and grasping her hands together, slowly a fiery sphere appeared and grew until the size of a pumpkin and then started to shapeshift into a mini globe. The Hermit Woman then opened her hands and the sphere rose above the house and a small ring began to glow white to highlight where hellpoint was. It was indeed in the south, the Hermit Woman then took a few steps forward after grabbing her staff and as the darkness coveredher she disappeared into a flock of Ravens. Shortly after, Martin and Schrodinger closed the door and went to rest, and absorb all that they were told. At Dawn when Schrodinger awoke he noticed that Martin had disappeared, he wasn't at the church either, then it hit him, Martin had left. Taking his Chestnut horse he galloped toward hellpoint, hoping he could stop Martin from making a foolish mistake. After an hour of constant charging they could see the crimson glow of hellpoint, however the horse was fatigued and needed water. Unable to stop now Schrodinger jumped off and ran toward hellpoint, after making his way through the jagged rocks of the mountain he was now overlooking hellpoint, below a figure could be seen standing before the crimson pit. Schrodinger then started to run down the rock face, not even caring that his legs were being ripped to shreds by the rough terrain. "MARTIIIIIIIIIINNNN!!!!!" Schrodinger called out as he jumped down and ran to his brother. Martin did not move however and instead crouched down and placed his hands on the floor, almost like he was trying to enact some kind of spell. Schrodinger walked toward him and cruched down on Martin's left side. "Martin, you don't have to do this, what do you have to gain by going to see our 'father'?" Schrodinger could see the determination that Martin had and knew swaying him would be difficult. "Schro... You need to get this fact into your head, we're abominations, we should not have been, we would be best if we cast our lives into oblivion. Can you truly look anyone in the eyes after last night? Besides, people will persecute us, try to kill us, I don't want to live my life that way. You may go... I'm going to join with father, this world may have use for you yet." At this Martin stood up and walked toward the pit, as Schrodinger stood up and ran to stop him Martin held his arm out and pushed Schrodinger back before dropping himself in. Schrodinger ran as fast as he could to the pit but Martin was out of sight by the time he got to the pit.
After journeying back to the village Schrodinger immediately headed to his house to pack his things, now that he knew his identity he would have to get as far away from people as he could. After all, who knows what he was capable of? He put on his leather armour and longsword and packed up some food and water and put it into his bag, after he had filled it with supplies he walked toward the gate, after taking one last look at the village that had been his home since birth he walked onward into the night. As he walked he felt a strange dark presence following him, as he looked behind him he saw nothing, a few hours later he set up camp under a rock face. When he opened his eyes he felt the presence again, this time much closer, directly above him it seemed. As he crawled out and looked up he saw the owner of the presence, a man. He wore a large cotton shirt and trousers which were wore loosely and a large leather hat, they were both light brown in colour and he had a gun holster attatched to his left calf. Before Schrodinger could speak the man spoke over him "Running won't help you escape your troubles, the world is a harsh place. If you like, follow me and I shall show you what the world is".
As the man jumped from the rock he then pulled out a small revolver from his shirt and replaced it in his gun holster. he turned to Schrodinger "Get your stuff packed, this will be a long trek... Normally". the man then crouched down onto one knee with his back to Schrodinger and light started to flow from either side of his back until silver wings appeared. They both looked like angel wings and seeed to be very strong considering they were almost 20ft long when outstretched. Schrodinger shook his eyes away and ran to get his things packed. When Schrodinger was finished he walked over to the man. "Hold onto me" the man ordered, Schrodinger did as instructed and grabbed the man by the shoulders and linked his hands under the man's neck. The man then jumped up and they soared to the sky.
