Usually silent footsteps seemed to reverberate around the desolate city, echoing for what felt like an age even after the girl had come to a halt. Deep sapphire eyes gazed with rapt interest at the towering buildings now surrounding her, ears attuned to the almost deafening silence. Claret Xiong was not used to this kind of complete and total muteness. Every tiny sound was amplified in her ears, rattling her senses until she wasn’t entirely sure what was going on. “Creepy silence is creepy,” she muttered, dark blue eyes scanning the area, wincing at the sound of her foot slapping against the ground as the Warrior took a step forwards.

Typically, Claret kept to busy cities where she could go about her day to day life relatively unnoticed. Naturally, on occasion, the girl had strayed into quieter pastures such as plains and forests, but never had Xiong before experienced this eerie stillness. It was almost as though Ragnarok had washed over the place, destroying all signs of life as the Dragon Warrior knew it. As though the Apocalypse had occurred and she, Claret Xiong, was the only survivor of the world ending event. The sense of loneliness that washed over her was so absolute and forceful that a single tear wept from her eye.

Brushing it away aggressively, Claret stomped the ground, the thump that came with it emanating throughout the area almost like a sound-wave that could be physically felt. “God dang it! Just what the jolly hell is going on here? What in the name of cheesy waffles happened here? Why the devil is it so silent!?”

Her voice, clear as it was, sang out against the buildings, bouncing and echoing continuously. Finally the silence once more blanketed the area, shrouding Claret once more in her gloom. “Tch…” she tutted annoyed, flicking a strand of flaming red hair absently over her shoulder before sighing deeply. What was the use in throwing a tantrum if there was truly no one around to witness it?

Hot tempted as Claret typically was, the red-head punched her right fist in to her left palm. The slap resounded about her, but now the Dragon girl was protected from the sound by her own thoughts. What was she doing here? Why had she come here? How had she come here? Who else was here? Where should she go next?

Every question drew a blank. Eye twitching at the total boredom settling within her, Claret gazed around. “For pities sake, Some-one do SOMETHING!”

As Desconsio looks over the side of the window seal he notices an oddly dressed woman walking down the street. “Hum an easy target maybe I could play around a few minutes; then finish her off.” He said in his head.

“SHADOW BURST! ATTACK FORM!” Desconsio yells while finishing the seal, causing a large wall of darkness form in front of him and crash forward into the street just in front of the lady. Quickly Desconsio runs trying to get to the stairs but instead runs into one of the pillars in the room.

“Damn! How the heck am I suppose to get ready to defend this area if I have no clue who my enemy is or what the area I am at. I am gonna kill Haze for giving me so little information.” He says loudly apparently annoyed. As he is talking he starts to get up expecting to be getting attacked soon.

ooc: Ya know Ragnarok is the death of the gods only right? the Apocalypse is the total destruction of everything.

"SHADOW BURST! ATTACK FORM!"

"What the f-!" Claret dived to the left, her body flowing into a somersault as she tried to avoid the wall of black shadow that collided with the ground directly in front of where she had been just moments before. Whoever had so hastily attacked her had just as quickly disappeared with only footsteps telling Claret which direction they had gone. Xiong scowled. What the hell had just happened? Was someone looking for a fight? A foot stamped the ground, anger pulsing in her throat. How dare they attack and then retreat!

Claret shot forwards, her lithe legs propelling her in the direction the footsteps had seemed to take. Just ahead of her was a form, the figure of the person who had attacked her; or so she assumed. "HEY! You bastard!" The fans at her waist slid from their sheathes and she stared with a fierce loathing at the man before her. "Just how cowardly are you? Hit and run, huh?" Xiong flipped open her crimson red fan and proceeded to fan her face with it. "Is that really the way you want to play it?"

The fan left her hand to arc towards her opponent as she flicked open its partner. Using her strong legs to leap in to the air, the Dragon Warrior plucked the crimson projectile from the air as it arced back towards her, body turning a full one hundred and eighty degrees. Side on to her target now, the black fan was allowed to fly. Claret alighted with the ground just off to the man's left, fan returning to its owner. Sliding in to a crouch, the Warrior peered up at her enemy. Relatively simple attacks, but she was not about to show her full potential in combat just yet...

((OOC: Of course I'm aware. Don't start trying to get smart with me. Think about it. Destruction of the Gods = bad times for the Earthlings. Duuuuh! Jeeze. Your turn))

As Desconsio is getting up from his hiding place a crimson fan flies by just gracing his shoulder. “Damn that actually hit me. Too many of those and I will be screwed.” He whispered to himself. While whispering to himself he starts moving towards the elevator.

As he is getting to the elevator he notices that the wires for it were cut. “Damn it is out and I would have to give away my location to energize it.” He said quite annoyed and desperate. Knowing that he needs something to help him; he notices that the cords above the elevator were weak and would properly going to snap if he stepped onto the elevator.

“How can everything be like this I want to win but everything is going against me” Desconsio states very annoyed. Now noticing that it was hopeless to try and hide; he starts walking out of the shadows into the light where his alignment changes from evil to good. “Damn did I actually perform a snick attack?” He asks no one in particular.
