I sort of have two reasons for this. One, is to create a topic we can all have input on, two, to get some tips :P

What level of fitness would you say you have? Do you keep active? Are you trimmed and toned? What does your diet consist of? What tips would you give to someone (me:P) who wants to slim down and build some muscle?

You know, these kind of questions can be asked, or you can ask any other appropriate question. It's not manditory, but I'd appreciate it if I could get some tips, ;)

Well...hmmm...im a veggie...i eat healthy...erm i used 2 go kayaking lol...percussion keeps me on my toes...i dont hav tym 4 much else...visit ur local loch more boy lol...tis gr8 4 the arm muscles :)

I rollerblade. They say that both diet and exercise helps keep you from getting fat. If you lose out on one or the other, it won't work. And after you get to where you want, you still have to keep doing it, or you'll get fat again.

I eat watermelon alot, i heard it has little calories and kills hunger, but my best tip for you is life wieghts, ive seen a gigantic imporvemnt from last year, iv been lifting 4KG wights for 500 -1000 times a day every day for months. 20 every 5 minutes or so. 6 months ago my muscles were like a girl's, now im much stronger.

I used to get a very good calisthenic workout from marching percussion but I aged out so I began working out in a gym. If you want to build muscle you have to stop drinking basically everything but water. Even juices. Most are acidic. Water flushes the system so it will help solute any extra unecessary fat. Only eat your 3 main meals a day. Or 5 smaller meals altogether. Don't eat in between.

When you're lifting weights with your legs or arms you want to do twice as many reps. Usually 20 is fine. 10 to get your body in distress, 10 to break in the muscles. Over time you get rid of fat and it's replaced with lean muscle. Lean muscle actually burns fat when you're not working out. People who are really ripped usually can burn 3,200 calories just sitting down doing absolutely nothing.

You don't know how much I like the idea of burning fat whilst sitting doing nothing. To think, I could burn fat whilst posting on the forums!

Maybe lifting wieghts is paying off more than i think, i might be burning calories now.

I am a PE nerd [PE is Physical Education] so I could go on for ages about this kind of thing xD. Don't worry, I will not.

Fitness: The ability to meet the demands of the environment.

I wouldn't say I have a very high level of fitness, but it's above a lot of people I know. I'm more of a sprinter, so it's not like I can run for miles and miles without getting out of breath. 800m is probably the longest distance I can do quickly [if that makes any sense]. xD. So yeah, I guess you could say my level of fitness is above average.

I keep very active, I love my sports, but I think I could be so much more active right now. It's hard to find the time to exercise as I'm loaded with practice exams and school work, but when I leave in May it'll change. I play Hockey for the school, jog a lot to and from my Nan's, or cycle, every other day. I pretty much do anything I can physically in the day .

Hmm, trimmed and toned xD. Well, I'm quite heavy, at least I think so, but I don't look fat or anything. My height makes me look quite lean/slender. I have strong arm and leg muscles, they're quite shaped so they're toned. My stomach isn't though. It's not one of those ultra-flat, ironing-board like ones xD. I'm kind of toned and trimmed, but nothing jaw-dropping.

My diet is anything I want really. Generally, I do eat healthily, plenty of fruit and veg, meat for protein, carbohydrates such as pasta for energy...etc. I make sure I eat 3 meals now, I never used to. I'm quite fussy, I only eat when I'm hungry and if I eat when I'm not then I get sick. So my '3 meals a day' doesn't always happen but I'm getting there xD. I don't deny myself of treats like chocolate, if I did then I'd just crave it more and end up stuffing my face.

The key is to cut-down, not cut out. As for losing weight, that comes in my next post xDD.

I do not eat much, and I do not exercise (save for a few minor breathing and stretching ones I do for speech and drama). I do not have much fat, I do not have much muscle, nor do I want such matter.

Dance Dance Revolution. Assuming you're not using a normal controller, and you're doing it the proper way with a dancing mat on your PS or PS2, that thing gets you to move around. A lot.

oh now i remember
my mind forgets loads
i dunno if they are any dance mats for DDR in UAE
it really sucks but i think that Wii will also help

The secret potion is...filtered water + lemon slices, rind and all.
Take two or three times a day with your meals, or as directed by a physician.

I assume no responsibility for any injury, death or sickness that may result from trying this concoction.

Well, I don't know if you can be allergic to lemons...
