Right, this thread is more for fun than anything else. Considering this, if anyone feels that this thread should be moved to Final Fantasy Fun, then please, go ahead.

Now, with that foreword in, let's get to the point, shall we? Picture your favourite band, jamming your favourite song on stage. All of a sudden, their faces fade away ... then fade back. Only, their faces are of your favourite Final Fantasy characters.

Which characters would you have in your band? Which instruments would they play? What genre of music would they play? Which real band would they resemble?

GO! :D
 
There aren't very many Final Fantasy characters that I can actually picture being in a band. The only ones that come to mind are Selphie and Tidus. Selphie is already a band fanatic and Tidus has a pop-culture appearance. His whiney voice makes me think of Blink 182. XD

So far that's:
Selphie on guitar
and
Tidus on Vocals
 
Mine would be Balthier with the drums, Rikku for lead singer, Gippal for guitar, & Yuffie with the Triangle. ROFL! Oh, and Shuyin with the Second Lead.

They would be a pop/rock group. =p.
 
I can see Zell as the lead guitarist, Irvine as the lead singer (due to his popularity amongst the ladies), and Tidus as the drummer. Yuffie, Rinoa, and Yuna can be back-up singers.

I would say that it'd relate more to Evanesence, except the the singer would be male. But same style of music, nonetheless.
 
If it was up to me, I'd make them resemble the Beatles...obviously. >.>

But really now, Tidus on lead guitar, Squall on bass, Cloud on rhythm, and Zell on drums...I don't really see Zell as a guitar person, to be honest. I'd make them play rock, of course! :D Name them the Timeless Heroes, or something of the sort, and send them on Worlds Tours.
 
haha cool. this reminds me of FF8 in the concert in FH. hmm I could think of Quistis as a flute player, Selphie as violinist, but other than that Squall as keyboardist(a la Piano Squall XD) and for the vocalist, I'd pick Paine really. I find it interesting to hear her voice singing.

Vocalist 1 - Sephiroth
Vocalist 2 - Edea
Lead Guitar - Sephiroth
Bass Guitar - Amarant
Drums - Zell
Rhythm Guitar - Seifer

They would be a Death Metal band called Liberi Fatali or Memento Mori

Keyboard/Piano - Tidus, Quistis and Aerith.
Fiddle - Cait Sith (bonus points for anyone who spots why).
Banjo - Fran.

No idea who the hell they'd sound like.
