My country's finest export until it was canceled last year. Basically it was a TV show which featured social and political commentary through public pranks, skits and harassing politicians. :wacky:

Since I'm assuming that most of you haven't seen or heard of it before, here's a bunch of clips for ya. :monster:

These are from a segment called the 'Ad road test' in which they try to see if the claims that commercials make will work in real life:

Here's one for fans of top gear.

and here are some random ones for the hell of it:

John Safran is better than the chaser. Fairly obviously the chaser was influenced a lot by John Safran, but I still like the chaser a lot. It used to be on tv here, but it wasn't advertised at all, probably because it's Australian. It was a shame it was cancelled, but they did some kind of election special didn't they?

They did 'yes we canberra' which aired in the weeks leading up to the election, it was alright but obviously the subject was restricted to the election so it wasn't as good as the war on everything.

Safran is grand, I'm not sure if I'd rate him as better than the Chaser though, tough call..Either way the Chaser and Safran are the best as far as Aussie comedy is concerned imo.
