The Character's Ages

I don't mind the ages of characters. I think they make them young to appeal to the average age of the people that play FF games (this is strictly an assumption ). I was.... 13 when I got into FF, which is younger than most, if not all the main protagonists in FF games. So to me, this is like my big brothers and sisters saving the world, which is hella dope.

I began playing FF at 13-14... around that time I was member of a forum and a lot of people that played rpgs said that in most games the characters were way too young... I didn't understand because I thought that the IX's characters were fully grown-up adults and thus it was logic for them to have the freedom they had and behave kind of maturely... Now that I'm 23 I comprehend what those users were referring to, though it doesn't bother me (well, sometimes when they try to make you believe that single-digit-age children can be part of a group that will save the world...)

I don't think I would've got interested in the series if the characters had been older so I understand why the protagonists are usually on their teens or early twenties...
