which film, in your opinion, has the best ending?

for me it is definitely killing them softly. i think you need to watch the film to get the full effect of the quote, but it is such a great moment that sums up the message of the film perfectly.

'my friend, thomas jefferson is an american saint because he wrote the words "all men are created equal", words he clearly didn't believe since he allowed his own children to live in slavery. he's a rich white snob who's sick of paying taxes to the brits. so yeah, he writes some lovely words and aroused the rabble and they went and died for those words while he sat back and drank his wine, and fucked his slave girl. this guy wants to tell me we're living in a community? don't make me laugh. i'm living in america, and in america you're on your own. america's not a country, it's just a business. now fuckin' pay me!'

now you :toni:

Out of the movies I've seen (which keep in mind, I'm not into movies that much, so I haven't seen many) I would have to go with either the ending of Toy Story 3 (Woody's Weed FTW), or the SpongeBob Squarepants movie. TS3 because of how it pretty much ended everything. Andy has grown up, and the toys have moved on to a new owner. And while it was a story ender, it also left open the possibility for another movie in the future. SpongeBob, because after following the show and him working at the Krusty Krab, and then going through everything in the movie to save his boss. Getting to see him finally get rewarded for it was a very awesome moment. It was a story of the underdog overcoming all the obstacles put in his way.
