In a small, abandoned village a dense air hangs overhead, the houses, abandoned with parts of the woodwork rotted away from age or fallen off from harsh weather. The ground was sandy and dust-filled with various vermin scurrying around. The stream that cut trough the middle of the village had it's bridge worn down, with most of the brickwork gone. The water almost silent despite the deathly quiet of the surroundings. The sun beat down on the hot ground, being midday the sun was directly over the area, making for extra heat. The area was completely empty, not a single human in the area, leaving the village to die wth time. The wind was quite calm this day, almost settled with not even a breeze noticeable on the air.
His foots chunching the sandy ground beneath him, Alistair Phelan approached the abandoned village. The heat blared down strongly on him, stubbornly he fought back the tremendous heat as he proceeded to the 'front' of the village he noticed a kind of deathly feel on the wind, yet he knew not the cause. Even when he sniffed through the air he detected no presences aside from his own. Looking around he saw naught but sand and dust in every direction. With the heat's continued strikes he quickly entered the village to seek refuge inside one of the broken houses closest to the entrance he came in from. Though not completely cool it protected him from the sun's burning rays.
