The Alignment NPC

After characters travel back in time through the portal, they will encounter a guardian. The guardian will inguire about their alignments, be they Mage or Warrior. It is troubled times because of the mess caused by Elendil. As for what time characters get transported back, needs to be discussed. Unfortunately, the hack kinda messed up my thoughts.

Now once characters make this choice, they cannot change their minds. Only spells and attack types will be sold in these stores. Also, any store that is opened to all characters will only sell items, potions and books. Hopefully this idea will work.

Sounds good, though what the books don't mention is that Elendil survived King Marcus's crusade, and that the players arrive shortly after the "weapon" is split, and that they are the ones who kill Elendil in the past.

Though they destroy the body, the soul still lingers the Tower of Mages, as we can see when fighting "Cursed Spirit". Even after the defeat of that spirit, Elendil's essence was not destroyed, instead it was transferred to another host, a mage most likely who, while being possessed, will continue with Elendil's plans of bringing Hell on Earth.

I will state that the events of the Great War occurred 500 years into the past. I should state that too in another book. Like a chronology.

Ok, time to brainstorm.

-Arden Forest (500 years ago) *just a two areas linked to Hall of Mages (past) 1 and 2 then they are linked to the Tower of Mages (past)*

-Books concerning the ancient weapon.
-Another time traveling portal linked to the Forgotten Library (again)
-Soldier NPCs that speak of Marcus's victory.
-Fleeing Mages as monsters, maybe warriors as well since you will be considered as an enemy, they don't know you and obviously won't trust you. During another time travel, after gaining a Knight Badge, they will trust you. You will also need a Mage Badge to make mages trust you as well.
