Tekken vs Soul Calibur

Soul Calibur for me.

I LOVED SCII on the GameCube (especially owning everyone with Link), and that's what stuck with me. I completed the Weapon Master story a long time ago, and it felt really good to do that.

Playing SCIV again brought back memories, especially with Siegfried using Nightmare's SCII style. Even on the PS3, it was easy to jump back into this series after a while.
Hell, making my own characters was kinda fun to.
...Sure, the character representing me doesn't exactly look like me all THAT much, but I still love using Siegfried's style for him. XD
And sure, seeing characters like(though he's 360 only without DLC) and Vader was weird at first, but I got used to it.
Also, I'm pretty proud how close I've tried to make Kid from Chrono Cross in SCIV. =D

I only own 1 SC game and have played much more Tekken in my time. I know the characters and moves better in Tekken but to me they are similar games. The buttons system in SC is slightly less complex but combos and moves are very similar and have similar execution styles.

I think that the games are divided on story and characters, rather than on gameplay. I don't see them being that different. I do enjoy the Tekken story a bit more though just because I have followed the story as much as I can since Tekken 2.
