Tales of Avlear

Suddenly a group of black armored knights appeared from the darkness and started to attack Aiden and his friends.

"They must be the guardians of this temple, we must fight them if we want to get out of here alive!"

Aiden dashed towards one of the black knights and he began to deal numerous attacks at his enemy. The black armored knight tried to block every attack with no luck. After each hit landed on the black knight's shield, the shield shattered and then the black knight was wide open for an attack.

"This is it!" Aiden says while leaving his defeated enemy behind.
Aiden steped back and then he rushed towards his enemy slashing through it. After that, the black knight's armor emanated a black mist and then it fell to the ground, empty.

"What the hell......" Aiden says confused.

Then more knights appeared and our friends were getting surrounded.

"Bon-Bon we need to think of something fast! Any ideas?!" Aiden yelled while he was blocking his enemies' attacks.
 
Aiden searched for Bon-Bon but she was nowhere to be seen, the only thing left was the secret door that was opened before.


"Damn, where is she? Argh, maybe she went deeper into the temple."

Aiden then dashed through his enemies, he jumped high into the air and he landed in front of the secret door.

"RF! Leave those enemies and let's get out of here!"

Aiden then went deeper into the ruins. He ran across the hallways searching for Bon-Bon until he found another big door.

"A sealed door....how am I supposed to open it?"

Suddenly one of the armored knight's appeared again. This black knight however, was carrying with him the key to the door.

"So, it seems that if I want to get through that door I must defeat you first...hmmm" Aiden speaks with confidence.
Aiden then unsheats his sword and points it at his enemy.

"Come on freak! Bring it on!"

After that, the battle began.
 
RF heard Aiden say to leave the enemies. "I wasn't fighting any enemies. Whatever. C'mon KG. Let's look for Bon-Bon." "ALL RIGHT!" KG and RF ran passed Aiden, leaving him to fight. RF studied the wall, after a while noticed the switch. He flipped it and the 2 were teleported away.
 
Aiden then looked back to see if RF and KG where folllowing him but he saw no one, they were gone too.

"Damn now those two....."

The arnored knight ran towards Aiden and he started to attack him. Aiden blocke every attack and, when he saw an opening on his enemy's defenses, he slashed through him with a powerful attack. After that, his enemy fell defeated. Aiden then searched in the knight's armor until he found the key.

"Haha got it!"

Aiden then walked towards the sealed door and, using the key, he opened it. The door revealed what it seems to be a teleporting device.
"I wonder where would this thing leads....well ther is only one way to find out...."
Aiden crossed the portal and he arrived at a strage temple.

"I wonder if this is the Temple that Bon-Bon was talking about.....well, it's time to search for them."

Aiden began to explore the temple.

RF saw Bon-Bon and the young girl. KG looked also. "Who's that?" RF walked up to Bon-Bon and said nothing.
 
As Dracus rises from his nap he says "They found the first shrine well looks like I might have to test them now." Jumps up and walks off to the waterfall.
 
Bon-Bon looked back at RF and KG. "Wow, I thought I lost you guys." Said Bon-Bon. Bon-Bon looked back at the staute and read out what the caving said. "Wisp!"

Suddenly as Bon-Bon said the Mana's name the staute came to live. "Helllo everyone!" Said the statue. "Um...you...are?" Said Bon-Bon as she looked at the girl. "You're the one who called out to me, Yes, I'm Wisp." Said Wisp as she bowed. "Wait, Mom told me that You and Shade was put to sleep after that misshap with Mana's heart." Said Bon-Bon as she looked at Wisp with confution.

Whips eyes widen, "Wait, how did you....OH, you're the adopited darghter of Undine."Said Whisp as she smiled. "HEY, lets not talk about me. Um, I'm here to get to The Tree of Mana." Said Bon-Bon as she waved her arms.
"Oh, okay......Sorry, not okay." Said Whisp as she looked at Bon-Bon.
"Wait, what?! WHY?!" Said Bon-Bon with worry.
"Something is wrong with Mana, the way to her has closed off, I don't know why I just woked up." Said Whisp as she surgged.
"Great, a dead end." Sadi Bon-Bon as she sighed.
"If I'm awake that's mean Shade is awake too. Maybe she knows some thing." Said Whisp.
"What, Dark Mana. OH NO. I can't get anywhere near that stuff." Said Bon-Bon as she shoock her head.

"Well, you should hurry and think of something. Some ones comeing and his name is.....well I don't know, but he's going to test you." Said Whisp.
 
As Dracus approaches the waterfall he says "Wisp you know she has to figure most these out her self but it okay I'll see if she is worth to see Shade but you know I'll need some of your power." Wisp say in his mind "So be it but don't kill her." Dracus smirks and says "Do I ever kill anyone good anymore."
 
KG griopped his sword. "How about I take care of him? He doesn't seem good enough to handle a top notch fighter like myself." He had an arsenal of sand weaponry and defense ready, including his latest, a lightning speed sand shield.
 
"Whisp are you okay?" Said Bon-Bon as she looked at Whisp.
Whisp shook her head, "I'm sorry but I have to go and mind the mana flow, bye." Said Whisp as she changed back into a statue.
"Eh, but........Man, I guess. I should go see, another Mana spirit." Said Bon-Bon as she scrached her head.

"I can't see Shade, her dark mana will harm me in many ways than one." Said Bon-Bon to herself. "Maybe back at the Castle we can find some shrine loctions." Said Bon-Bon as she turn to the others.
 
Aiden walked through the halways until he reached the deepest parts of the temple. At the far end of this hallway he could saw Bon-Bon and the others.

"At last I found.."

Before he could finish speaking the ground began to shake and a dark shadow emerged from the darkness.

The dark shadow then took the form of a warrior and then it pointed his sword at Aiden.

Aiden unsheathed his sword and he prepared his defenses.

"Darn, guess I have no choice.."

Aiden fought with the shadow for some moments. Aiden was able to land a few direct hits at his enemy but the shadow was too strong. Then Aiden parried the shadow warrior's attack and he slashed through him. The shadow then turned around and it stared at Aiden for a while. Suddenly the shadow rushed towards Aiden and it tried to get inside of Aiden's body. After that, Aiden's hair color changed to white, his eyes turned green and his body began to emanate a dark aura. Suddenly, the dark aura disappeared and Aiden turned back to normal.

"What's happenning with me?"

Aiden then approached the others and staring at the statue he asked.

"Bon-Bon, wha's wrong with me? I fell this dark power that is eating away my soul....help.....me...."
 
Bon-Bon saw everything that happen to, Aiden. "Aiden, what just happen to you?" Said Bon-Bon as she rushed to Aiden side. As Bon-Bon got closer to Aiden the Demon Seed on her forhead glowed with a dark arua.

What the? But this should only happen when I'm around Dark Mana!
Bon-Bon quickly step back from Aiden, "Aiden, I can't touch you." Said Bon-Bon as she looked at Aiden with worry.
 
Aiden suddenly realized what was happening. He knew that what possessed him was a shadow created from Dark Mana. Aiden droped his weapon and fell on his knees.

"Bon-Bon...I am cursed...I can't help you anymore.....I must destroy the fiend inside of me and the only way is...." Aiden then stared at Bon-Bon with tears flowing from his eyes.

"You must kill me! Please you must put an end to my misery....."

Aiden's body began to emanate a dark aura. Knowing that he couldn't control the monster inside of him for much longer, Aiden asked Bon-Bon to kill him.

"Please, I don't know if I can resist much longer...I don't know if there is another way but is not worth risking your safety for me....destroy the fiend by killing me!"

Aiden said this with great sadness, in his eyes you could see his suffering.
 
Bon-Bon looked down out of sham, This demon seed of mine, it can abosrb the dark mana within him if I wanted to, but the demon seed will grow if it gets close to dark mana.....Heck, who cares, I gotta save my friends.

"Don't worry Aiden, I'll never leave a friend hangn'" Said Bon-Bon as she rushed to Aiden side. The Demon seed on Bon-Bon head glowed brightly as it aborbed the Drak Mana. Shocks of pain went though Bon-Bon's body as the demon seed reacted. Bon-Bon aborbed as much Dark Mana from Aiden as she could, she fainted due to the pain.
 
Aiden saw as Bon-Bon tried to help him by absorbing the dark mana in his body.

"Bon-Bon!!"

Aiden then rushed towards Bon-Bon's side and then he tried to wake her up.

"Bon-Bon, Bon-Bon! Please wake up! Please answer me!"

Aiden's face was filled with a sadness so great that he didn't care of anything else in the world, he just wanted to see that Bon-Bon was fine.

Aiden began to scream in anger, and then, the last ammount of Dark Mana that was still inside of him began to grow in power.

"Not because of me....you will not die because of me!! Even if it kills me in the end I will seal the dark mana from your body inside of my soul!"

With tears of anger and sadness flowing from his eyes, Aiden used an ancient spell and then he began to extract the dark mana out of Bon-Bon's body, trying to seal it inside his heart. His body emanated again a dark aura more powerful than before, but then, something strange happened. Somehow the Dark mana that was being sealed again in Aiden's body began to change. Somehow the Dark mana was purified by the power of Aiden's rage. A blinding light emanated from Aiden's body and then it faded away.

"It worked, you should be fine now....I.....ughhh"

After these last words, Aiden stepped back and then he fainted.
 
KG looked at RF. "Help them. I'll take care of that man." KG ran to where Dracus was. "I'm gonna fight you." The sand arsenal flew towards Dracus and KG did a quick swords attack with his dual swords.
 
OCC: KG nothing personal but this fight is between me and RPG only

Dracus unleash burst of fire and turns sand into glass around KG and says "Stay out of this."
