So I was googling Muse's new album "The Resistance" and the first link on the page was from "The Pirate Bay", A torrent site. it says "Muse - Resistance (2009) (Pre-Released)" I, being a huge Muse fan click it and check the tracklist to see if its right, it is, so I begin to download it. I download it, which went EXTREMELY fast due to the number of ppl downloading it at the same time. I figured I'd download it to tide me over until the album actually released, at which point I would be buying it. Anywhoo. as soon as i had it downloaded I knew something was wrong. First off, I had just heard "uprising" on the radio, and I have "The United States of Eurasia" seeing as they released it as a download on their official website. On this Downloaded Version, Uprising was completely wrong, and USoE was just the piano intro looped for like 3 mins. things got downright HILARIOUS when I clicked the final song, entitled EXOGENESIS : SYMPHONY PART III (Redemption), and I hear Julia from Final Fantasy VIII begin to play. I scrolled down the download page, and THEN I notice all the comments saying it is fake. the latest comment saying, That the final song sounds like something from Final Fantasy VIII. Everything else turned out to be from some band who wishes they were Muse.
The moral here is downloading music, although wrong, can lead to hilarity.
