Hi,

So, recently I started playing ffx(international) again. This time I want to max my stats, but after I saw a few guides about maxing them I found that there are 2 types of grids (standard and expert). The problem is that I was never given a choice of choosing between the two(or at least I don't recall such)....
So, my question is:
How can I tell if I am on standard or expert grid?

Edit: Oh, and could you please tell me how can I choose between the two for future newgame+.

You get to chose at the beginning of the game, on the Al Bhed refuge ship I think.
I'm not sure how you check, if it's not in the menu you might have to press something when you have the sphere grid open, Select or Start or something like that.

I think you get more blank nodes in the beginner Sphere Grid, that would obviously affect how high you could get your stats.

Later on you can get nodes that clear spheres and such, you even have to start replacing the +2 attributes that come as standard on the grid with +5 spheres you get out in the world. The attributes max on 250 and I believe you can get that on the beginner one, though I do prefer expert.

From what I've heard it's easier to max out stats on the beginner grid, but I never use it, I always use expert because you have freedom during the game, which is more important to me than having to make less effort at the end maxing stats.
