stillshrine of miriam

Care to expand and explain?

Is it because of the puzzle because a lot of people find that incredibly irritating. The worst thing about it for me was that I got lost a lot.

I didn't find the stilshrine THAT tough tbh. I was in the 30s (just general levelling, hadn't really trained anywhere since outside Raithwall's tomb) had Vaan use the broadaxe (replaced by francesca or w/e it's called) so he could deal between 60 and 2000 damage, so I could 1-hit kill most of the enemies in no time flat. The magnetic boss was a cinch as well, funnily enough (then again i've never fought it without metal equipment, go me)

The only bothersome part was getting back to the sword after positioning the statues and fighting Mateus (curaga and ice spells can gtfo) so on the whole, the area wasn't that hard to finish, after the long run about finding the sword I was okay. :D

I found it a bit difficult the first time around, I kept going in circles and the statue puzzle was annoying. But eventually I was able to successfully find my way around and it wasn't that bad.

I found it quite easy.. a lot of the places were pretty easy.. this being one of them, but then again there are harder parts that make the game harder.. I dont remember did you get the sword or the nemicite or w/e it is from the stillshrine of miriam?

Wait by soloing, how do you mean? That you were only using one character? When i get a new ps2 i think i might replay FFXII so i can actually try and 100% it.

I hate that place as well. The labirynth is confusing, the besties are scary-looking. When I first entered that place I was okay with it, but the deeper I went... Well let's just say even my cat wouldn't purr anymore. It was hard, thank Lord I'm outta that place now.

When I first entered that place I was around level 35 with my main party, but the fiends in there always pwned me even when I used good gambits and stuff. =( ATM I'm levelling up my characters to see if they can survive that place without dying every time. ¬¬

So basically my first impression of the Stilshrine was "I just want to leave this place ASAP". XD When I reach a good level, maybe I'll use that place for some levelling up.

Agh~ I hated the Stillshrine. It seemed as though it took forever... which it did. The monsters there weren't too difficult and the bosses were so-so, no complaints there really. The process of getting through the shrine though was oh so very boring.

The Stillshrine was o.k. It got annoying, and boring, after a while, but I took the chance to level up some of my weak characters. But I was glad once I got out of it.
