I have to give two thumbs-up to the character of Lieutenant Sarah Louise Kerrigan, as a member of the terran, and a further three-thumbs up as the Queen of Blades with the Zerg. She was characterised so fully and effectively, there was nothing she could be improved on. Come to think of it, this entire game was exemplary.

Yeah cause when they put it on this list that they put it the list it on it usually scraped and never seen again. T-T

(I like it when it fixed Riku)

HOORAY! A STARCRAFT FORUM!

Wow. I started one of these up in ACF, but it didn't go over too well. So I didn't start up one here.

The whole game was amazing, but Kerrigan, Raynor, Tassadar (original) and Daggoth were the main focus of the whole series (Tassadar being from original ONLY).

Personally, I loved Tassadar. He was like, the God of Gods amongst Protoss. They even made their greeting "En Taro Tassadar" in Brood War! I hate Aldaris...

Kerrigan was the main focus of the whole story though. Can't wait for Starcraft 2 to come out.

Daggoth was a main focus? o_O He died :P

Join the Kerrigan club, folks!

Daggoth was, like, the right hand man of the Overmind. A lot of convos in the game (and in the Queen of Blades book) were directed at him from either Zasz (who is the one that actually died, not Daggoth :P ), Kerrigan, or the Overmind.

But seriously, I think that Kerrigan sucked compared to Tassadar. He would've kicked so much ass if they'd been put on even ground in the game. No abilities, no hiding, no nothing. He would've icked SO much ass.

I'll check, but I think that their health is around the same. As per the physical strength, yes, there is a definite advantage for Kerrigan. As per the rest, I still think that Tassadr would win.

But remember, I said without any abilities and such. So they would probably be around even ground.

So without any abilities, it would depend on HP, Defense and Strength ...

Kerrigan wins again ;)

Have you ever played this Starcraft 64? Apparently, there's a special bonus level called Resurrection IV, where
Alexi is revived and becomes a playable character, again
. I've tried to read up on this, but I can't find an article for it anywhere.

Actually, there is an expansion pack called Insurrection, and it has nothing to do with the original storyline. It just adds a full campaign to the Custom Maps menu.

I've never played Starcraft 64 though. Never was really intrigued by N64. If you could play as Alexi...I wouldn't play that. I'd love to play as Kerrigan, a Hunter Killer, or a Dark Templar though :D

Come on now. What PC gamer has NOT played Starcraft? This game was one of the first HUGE games for the PC. I loved the game. Anyone play it?

I never noticed we didn't have a StarCraft thread.
Yea, I played that game. Pretty awesome...until I learned all the 'useful' cheat codes.

Then I tried playing it without the cheats, and it was tough, but it was still awesome. Brood Wars was also awesome.
Go Protos. Dark Archons rule with mind control.

Got 3 different bases with about 600 units.

Yeah the cheat kind of ruined the game, but that was the fun part about it! Trying to beat it without the cheats. I'm not so sure if I could it nowadays, having not played in well over 2 years.

Try 3 years.
They should make a sequel. xP

Game takes forever though as you try to build up all your stuff and then some Zerg army just destroys everything as you haven't built up the base.

I used 'you' cause I hate to admit that that was 'me'. xP

You sly devil you! See I used "you", because I was referring solely to "you". ;D

Anyway, I think they did make something of a sequel, called "Brood Wars" I believe.

No, I meant, a more graphically advanced one.
A little tweaks to the storyline too, is what I'm asking.
They should put the Klingons in too just for fun.
they need a new race.

Oh, well in that case, then yes, they should create a new one. That would be awesome. I'd be on that quicker than Michael Jackson is on little kids.
