Hello FFF! With all the staffing changes we've had here on the forum lately I felt that I should explain everything that is going on to prevent any confusion amongst our members or any strange questioning. As you've noticed we've had some staff changes going on. I'll first begin with the staff whom have left us.

Saix/Hexadecimal-Has resigned from the Forum Administrator position.

~SapphireStar~-Was demoted from Global Moderator position due to inactivity and no communication.

Warbourne- Has resigned from his Moderator position.

I'm not going to go into specifics as to why the two individuals left us. If you want further answers, please contact them via PM or IM.

Björk- Has been bumped up to Global Moderator from his Moderator position.

Mitsuki- Has been bumped up to Global Moderator from her Moderator position.

Karl Friedrich Gauß/Angelus Mortis- Has replaced Saix/Hexadecimal as Forum Administrator

Contra Fates- Has been promoted as Moderator for the Role Playing section of the forum.

Mercurial/Eva Longoria
- Has been promoted as Moderator to the Final Fantasy section of the forum.

VoN/Mister Poop- Has been promoted as Moderator for the Gaia section of the forum.

I hope all of these are clear to you guys, and you now understand all of our recent staffing changes. I know some of you won't be satisfied with the staffing changes or whom we've chosen. I express my sincerest apologies, but we felt as a staff team that these were most efficient and the proper choicing for moderating FFF. Thank you for the taking the time to look through this and for your understanding.

Also, for those of you who may think we have "too many" mods, even with all these new changes we have the exact same number of mods we had before, but with one extra Gmod =]

Wow, that's the reason why I keep seeing these congratulations threads every time I come on lol. Personally, I think new mods are what we need so long as you guys continue to do what you do best.

You can never have too much help. :pikamon:

I cba replying to every congrats thread, so I'll just say congrats to everyone who promoted and my commiserations for those who left.

Hey, if you got the space, might as well add them, as long as none of them are power crazy or corrupt, then half of FFFs community could be staff for all i care, the more the merrier as they say.

Whatch talking about? We're all corrupt bastards who don't know how to take a joke! WE ARE THE FINAL FANTASY FORUMS NAZIS, HEAR US ROAR!

...jk :wacky:

Would you care to say that to me when I'm holding a big rifle gun to your head? :P

And like Dave said, I can't be arsed finding the threads either. So congratulations everyone and do a good job or else I'll be stalking you. :neomon:

Can I say the reason I havent been on was because I havent had internet access as Im living with grandparents and can only access the net when Im at my boyfriends house. I did say this when I went offline the first time.

I dont find this very fair. I was a good active member here and I will be online daily as soon as I have my own internet.

No, Im still not online as its proving difficult at the moment, but I will be online for good soon. Im surprised no one has said anything in my defense as I even mentioned this weeks before it happened.

Sorry SS. If you could not be around to do your job. I am sure when you get access back, you will be considered again. If there is an opening.

The only reason we took you off staff is because you were unable to be on to mod. It's not a slam on your abilities or anything, but we needed active moderators. Had you had the opportunity (as we DO understand it was beyond your ability to be on when you wanted), we know you would have been active, but as it was you were unable to be active, and hence it wasn't much use having you around, for either of us. It just added onto your responsibilities, the addition being one you could not fulfill.

I second what is above. Being demoted because you can't get on is a world away from being demoted because you were bad at your job.

Forum staff need to be active, and it's not good to have someone on staff who can't get on.

As said, i'm sure your name will be at the top of any list for new staffers once you get your net sorted out,

I just dont like the reason given in the first post.

Was demoted from Global Moderator position due to inactivity and no communication.
Of course there was no commuincation, how could I? Im not having a go, Im just upset as it feels like Ive been thrown aside as a GMod.

Just feels like Ive been forgotten. K, well I have to log back off now as of the hour and its not my PC. Im not sure when I will be back online 100%, it will happen.
But I will make a thread and let the forum know its offical.

First thing's first, relax. You were sent an e-mail from Saix explaining why we had to let you go, and we had no contact from you what so ever. You say how could you have contacted us? Well, we don't even know what went on while you were away and still don't know as you're obviously not letting us in on. You say you were away at your grandparent's but had some net access at your boyfriend's, but you literally were inactive for over a month. Couldn't you have at least jumped on once in awhile to let us know you were okay? What did you expect us to think? We needed that extra slack picked up.

Another thing you need to understand is this. You have not been thrown aside as a GMod, but when we need active mods to do work on here and have so many inactive for so long with no communication we have to come to a final resort. We tried all the ways we knew how to somehow contact you and yet we never heard anything. We're not blaming you for not being able to contact us either, so please don't think that, okay?

We assumed that this was just going to be another Angel Valentine incident, so this was decided. It's nothing against you as a I know Saix explained that to you in the e-mail he sent you, it's just when we have inactive staffers and we don't even know the reason why, we've got to do something about the problem. We couldn't just let it go, so new people were promoted.

I'm sorry you feel the way you do, but you need to stop, think and put yourself in our position. We were in a tight spot with a tough decision to make and this is what came of it. None of us knew if you were ever going to return. We couldn't just continue to let it go, especially with all the new members we keep getting and the increase of activity. We need efficient moderators who are going to do the job and be active. We're not saying you weren't, because you were, but at the point in time, we had only one active and very stressed out GMod and that was Cerri. She needed that extra help. I hope you understand. If not, then please PM me.

As much as I hate to admit it, Simon had a good idea when we opened up Final Fantasy Haven for the first time - he asked if we, the staff, would like to exchange phone numbers. That way, if anyone was needed online for a particular reason, it was just a text/phonecall away.

That suggestion might not apply to someone like yourself, Mandi - it's a bit impractical to think you could phone her yourself. :wacky: However, someone like Mark or Ryan could get in contact with a British Moderator, the Americans could contact each other, so on and so forth. It could avoid problems like this in the future.

Yarly :neomon: I feel lonely -_-

But SS, it's not a shot at your moderating abilities, just something that we had to do. Under the circumstances, it was our only choice. It's most certainly not your fault, but it is something that had to be done.

Yeah, what Throttle said.

Anyway, this may be a good idea, Dave that is if any of the staff are willing to exchange numbers with one another. Actually, the plan I have on my home phone I can call anywhere in Canada and it doesn't cost a thing on my phone. I can also call parts of Europe, and it won't cost me. I'm just not sure which areas of Europe I can call.
