Square loves the Giant Monster Hands.....

Isn't it just really weird?
My friend pointed it out to me.
I think they make these giant hands on purpose. xD Just look at Kingdom Hearts (KH1 mostly), it's natural for things to be.... huge. Big head, feet, hands. xDD

I don't think Ashe's hands were that huge until the ending O_O

Oerba's hands on the other hand, were like that from the beginning. :V
When she holds her arms out to take Snow's gun, they were pretty big. xDD

So... is this just natural? What other SquareEnix game has monster hands?
?_? I thought they were trying to get as close to realistic as much as they could?

I never noticed Ashe's hand in the FMV was so big.
I've always thought that all abnormalities with the characters' body was just animation mistake. I mean, they couldn't make any of the characters walk normally in the FMVs (they walk like mass-less robots) maybe all giant hands will be gone in the future?
That's my two cents.

I never actually noticed the hands until now. XD

I always noticed that their ears always seemed to be freakin' huge!

Why not make them look a little appealing?

Aerith's ears always stuck out the most.

Then again, that's the sole human trait she has. She looks like she's from my maternal grandmother's side of the family, with THE EARS.

The hands are probably an animation convention. It's fairly common to exaggerate hands and eyes for cartoon-expressive purposes, to make up for not having much detail of facial muscles to convey expression.

They don't look that much too big to me. Isn't the artist's rule that a hand is the same height as your face? That's a surprisingly long unit.

I never really noticed such a thing before and even after looking on those pics for a long time, I still can't see anything wrong about the hands...

Eh...To me, the only time the hands were really big in FF was in FFIX, but all the characters were really off on their proportions, but that was the way the designer made them. All these examples aren't really making sense to me. They seem quite normal >_>
