According to Wikipedia , Vagrant Story and FFXII have 40/40, FFX, DQVIII and KH2 have 39/40.
And all time top 100 as voted by readers contest (first ten):

1.Final Fantasy X SQE
2.Final Fantasy VII SQE
3.Dragon Quest III SQE
4.Dragon Quest VIII SQE
5.Machi
6.Final Fantasy IV SQE
7.Tactics Ogre
8.Final Fantasy III SQE
9.Dragon Quest VII SQE
10.The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
7 out of 10. That's something. But...
...how the hell did VII get on second place???
And on the full top 100, almost all the series is there, including other SQE games!
Japan surely ♥♥♥ Square-Enix!

I would love to play Machi. Whatever it is.
I asume its a great game cause al the games in that list are.
Except tactics ogre. don't know what it is, but if its a tactics game, i'm not going to like it.
 
I only ever trust Famitsu for a brief outline on how good a game is, sorry, but my trust in them has dropped severly ever since XII got perfect scores when it lacked effort in so many areas.

All being said, SE are one of the dominant companies in Japan, though by no means amazing. So it's no suprise really that the majority of the top 10 are SE titles. :monster:
 
Well FF games come out there first and the developers and creators all are from Japan, so of course it seems reasonable that games like Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest will be rated higher in their eyes than others that come from off the island.

It may seem like somewhat of a biased opinion, but I think they only rate games that come out of Japan, so it makes sense that the big money makers and the most popular series' will be sitting atop the rest.

I noticed that Ocarina of Time is the most popular game ever in many many many other game mags, but in Fam it comes on tenth place!? (This is blasphemy!!)
