Square Enix' line-up for Gamescom 2009 in Cologne has been announced and can be found here: http://www.eu.square-enix.com/gamescom/?id=DFF〈=en
Final Fantasy XIII and XIV are on there, so hopefully we'll finally see something substantial from XIV :) What intrigues me the most though, is that they put Final Fantasy VII on their list. Maybe Square Enix will finally announce the remake we've all been lusting for since that fateful PS3 tech demo, or maybe it just means we'll be getting another compilation game. I'm not getting my hopes up just yet, but I'm keeping my fingers crossed :P

Unless it's a remake I don't really want anything else related to FFVII :ness:
It's a pretty good line up, although, the latter games not related to KH or FF, seem poor...pony 2, wtf? :wacky:

A FFVII remake that everyone has wanted? Somehow, I don't think so. There would be MUCH more hype than this, plus the fact that TGS 09 would have been a better occasion for such an announcement. A new game in the compilation? Unlikely. This is just the re-release of FFVII in the Playstation Store. The reason why it's being featured when it is a 12 year old game and being played on my PS3 is beyond me.

Batman: Arkham Asylum and Mini Ninjas are the two Eidos......er.....Square Enix Europe titles that interest me. I wonder why Darklord and After Years featured too. Darklord is out already and After Wars is partly out.

Pony Friends 2? The first one sold enough for a sequel? Somehow, that's not surprising and sad.

I guess it could be that FF VII and Darklord are going multiplatform. I bet there's lots of Xbox 360 owners who wouldn't mind throwing some Microsoft Points after FF VII. The console online stores are pretty lucrative business, so it would make sense to get it out to as many as possible.

I can't believe, why a sequal to FFIV on Wii?!?!? I don't have Wii!!!! No!!!!
As for FFVII. If it is something I'll be able to get (NDS, PS3), then it is fine.
If not, then it is fine too. Honestly, I don't really care about FFVII.

More news on FFVII? Damn, they just can't stop themselves anymore. Well, different story if it's about a PS3 remake of course (doubt it, but still...). Only thing I care about at the moment is FFXIII, so I am excited about that.
