Okay here is the thing, i finished playing Final Fantasy VII Dirge of Cerberus and unlocked the secret ending, but the problem is does anyone actually understand what the secret ending was about... it is entitled "THE END"

The
man with the one wing
who was he?
... some one similar to
sephiorth
?
i'm kinda wondering if anyone has any idea what it is about...

post your ideas

Genesis (ジェネシス, Jeneshisu): Originally known only as "G". Genesis is a mysterious character who appeared in both Crisis Core and Dirge of Cerberus. He appears to have exceptionally bright mako eyes, and he bears a single wing on his left side, in contrast to the one Sephiroth bears on his right. His link to the Deepground organization suggests that his origins lie with the research performed by Lucrecia Crescent and Grimoire Valentine, rather than the later Jenova Project which produced Sephiroth. If one talks to one of the personnel aboard the Shera later in the game, he reveals that according to Scarlet private files, the DeepGround Soldiers are a result of his evolution. The "G Reports" also state that the Tsviets are the spawns of his evolution. Genesis was said to be pursued and taken down by a 1st-class SOLDIER whose identity is yet to be revealed. But in the Secret Ending of the game, Genesis is shown to be still alive and reclaims Weiss's lifeless body, proclaiming that their work is not done. Screenshots and promotional art indicate he will have a central role in Crisis Core, possibly as a high-ranking member of SOLDIER, like Sephiroth once was. He is seen to wear SOLDIER gear beneath a long red overcoat. Though it has been rumored that the popular Japanese singer Gackt has been a model for many characters in the series, this is the first that is confirmed to be modeled after him.
From Wikipedia

More for Genesis will be known from Crisis-Core.

Maybe he is a old project before Sephiroth.

yeah i guess that is very quick though we don't really know what he is going to do, any one got ideas on that, plus do you think through him that sephiroth might come back, and you fight along side to fight this G character... it would be pretty cool, because in AC Sephiroth says he won't become a memory and might come back

you fight along side Sephiroth??? please tell me that i misinterpret your words. now i havent really got into the CC storyline and dont really know how it goes or what the relation was like between Gensis and Sephiroth but insictively, id would think they would team up together and try to, once again, take over the world and in some form or another, use the planet as a 'vessel to travel the stars' with.

In Crisis Core you play as Zack who acompanies his mentor Angeal on a mission to hunt down the on-the-run Genisis.

He was a prototype for Shinra's SOLDIER programe and was created in a similar way Sephiroth was. The diffrence being Jenova cells were used for Sephiroth whilst something else happend with Genisis. Genesis, Sephiroth and Angeal were all on good terms as members of SOLDIER First Class. Genisis then became an experiment to Shinra again and his evolution resulting from these experiments formed the basis of Deep Ground. Genesis eventually escaped from Shinra and went on the run, with Angeal being given the mission to hunt him down.

He is defeated and sealed deep under Midgar. In the secret ending of DoC he awakens and reclaimes Weiss' body before flying off to take care of 'unfinished buisness' as it were. What this involves however is unknown and may or may not be a contiuation of whatever his plans are in CC.

I think CC also includes the Nibelheim incident in some way, but for majority of the game Sephiroth is good. He may have a major role but is likely that he only has a small part in the game overall. CC should be described as Zacks story prior to FF VII and the game to link DoC more with the rest of the seires.

yeah maybe, before he went crazy and started killing everyone and wanting to take the world over. actually come to think of it it would be pretty cool. i'd like him if he wasnt so insane. personally, i think he just needs a big hug :D

what? lol i wasnt serious, anyone who'd try that proberbly wouldnt live to tell the tale. but i mean he proberbly has seriously needed some affection in his life. i mean he didnt even know his parents and you kinda get the idea that who ever looked after him as a child didnt really show him much love.so yeah half his idenity problems proberbly came from his insercuities and his sense of not 'fitting in anywhere' or as he quoted he doesnt even has a hometown or home to call his own.

I know you get a secret ending if you collect all 3 'G' Reports but i didn't know you get to fight him and Sephiroth alongside Cloud...I think I might give that game another crack and see for myself.

Well that does it I look like a right Plonker now don't I? got my hopes up aswell...Oh well, cheers anyway.

Yeah it would but from what I've heard the secret ending is just a video after the 'The End' screen fades out, I'm not too sure.

I thought this ending was weird in a way.

Square has always ended their games with a little mystery. A small, somewhat unsolved mystery that leaves you contemplating about the game. But to my knoledge, they have never flat out introduce a new antagonist, so openly suggesting a definite sequel (or trilogy, or fourth, depending how you look at it) for the Final Fanal Fantasy 7 universe.
