Are not dead/crystallized for life? Who here agrees with that statement? Or do some of you think they're gone for eternal life.

The last line was "We live on to greet a new dawn." Hints that they will wake up one day?

I think they will be decrystalized to tellh the truth. It just would not be the same without them you know? I really Love Fang and Vanille and I really do see them coming back! I dont know how post FF XIII would be but I see the beggining as the wedding of Snow and Serah. From there I think Fang and Vanille shall rise again

Thank you for your positive attitude unlike everybody else's.

You think Cocoon being crystallized is the same deal as Lake Bresha being crystallized right? Like the place will be crystallized forever, but the people won't? Kinda like when Snow had to walk on that Ice when Soldiers were attacking on him?

It will not be crystalized forever. If so How will they live? Everything was formed anew at the end right? Its a new Cocoon unless Lightning and co decide to live on Gran pulse. Lake bresha was crystalized because of the defeat of Anima. In the ending that grassland. Was that Gran pulse? Or was it a part of Eden? Im kinda confused on what you are saying tbh. When they defeat Orphan cocoon will be destroyed right? So thats why Fang and Vanille decided to become ragnarok to instead crystalize it and not destroy it. What ill say is I think Oerba will be built again and thet will live there and Maybe XIII-2 will focus on getting Fang and Vanille back|?

I'm thinking they get uncrystallized but Cocoon remains crystallized, I'm guessing they may have to walk from their all the way back down to Pulse and find their way? Anyway, I think a XIII-2 Sequel will have to explain it, that is if they make a sequel instead of a prequel. I'm sorry for lashing out at you earlier. Like I said, was in a bad mood.

I want more posts and thoughts about this.

OYF, learned to explain things when I ask you to.

Hisairness I dont have to respond to this all the time you know? Its like your forcing me too haha. FF XIII'S sequel will open with the wedding scene. Maybe Serah wont be playable again because she might have a baby in FF XIII's sequel? I dont know really its too early to tell. But I would have too say that FF XIII is my favorite in the FF series. I love it that much. Almost have 100 % in it :awesome: Yeah so Oerba will be rebuilt as a memory of Fang and Vanille and then we will have a new manipulator(bad guy) And then it will focus on finding Fang and Vanille. Just my thoughts. Maybe new places too ^_^

You didnt even Pm me o_O So what are you saying? Thats Bs? come on Im only giving ideas jeez. You know what you have a bad temper...

You know what? I'm closing this thread. This is getting ridiculous. The majority of it is just silly arguing back and forth.

Edit: Never mind, I've reopened it. But please keep the one-liners and arguing to a minimum. HisAirness, people do NOT have to respond to a thread if they don't want to and they are not required to respond WHEN you want them to. And please watch your tone and try and respect other members.

The last line is probably due to the fact they're not longer under the Fal'cie rule, hence a "new dawn". I think they're both gone forever, unless they somehow find a way to
un-crystallise themselves from inside the core of the crystal tower and manage to dig their way out of the crystal tower without making Cocoon come crashing down onto Gran Pulse which is what they were trying to avoid in the first place
...it seems unlikely.

I think their have been enough hints for us to realize they will come back along with the fact that vanille was the narrator. She can't be telling a story dead can she?

Well... I hope that if they ever awake, then it'll be many years after the events of FFXIII (hundreds of years after or so) when the world faces a new disaster and they will yet again try saving the world (whatever the world will be called in that time: 'Cocoon', 'Gran Pulse' or 'Gran Cocoon').
And then they'll meet some descendants of their friends or something along the journey.

I'll be really annoyed if they wake up soon after the end of FFXIII because for me it ruins the whole ending of FFXIII, which was perfect IMO. I hate those games which seem to have a bad ending, but end up having a totally happy ending. SE did the ending nicely in FFXIII and I will hate seeing it ruined by a sequal when Vanile and Fang awake too soon.

Anyway that's how I see things. You can all shoot me if you want :wacky:

No, I want them to wake up immediately. Actually just wake up, I don't care. Sequel, wake up, I'll buy the game. :sup:

I personally don't think they'll be coming back at all. (It could probably be mentioned in Versus if it's set after XIII, i'm not sure how Versus is going to work, tbh, but it could work as a sequel of sorts.)

I don't because when they saved Cocoon, they crystalised. (Again)
However, if they were to return, what would happen to Cocoon? From the looks of it they're what's keeping it up there, they're not dead exactly, but back in stasis.
I was a bit sad to see them go, as they were two of my favourites, but it was quite a nice twist.

I'm not saying that this is definite or anything, it's just my opinion, but unless it's explained in Agito or Versus (Or by somebody from Squenix) this will probably be debated for yeeaars.

I don't think they are the ones holding Cocoon just a part of it like Serah in Lake Bresha. Was she holding the entire Lake? Not that I recall. XIII-2.

It looks to me like, if they somehow managed to get out of the stasis and escape, Cocoon would just crash down as it was going to. It looks like they're at the center of it, and if they go, Cocoon goes with them.

Serah was holding the entire lake? I don't remember that, well I do, but I think she was just attached to a part of it if that. (Making Snow's efforts rather futile. :wacky:)

I'm also not sure on an XIII-2, they already have Versus and Agito planned, I don't think they need much more. It's the whole Fabula Nova Crystallis set, so it'll probably all fit nicely together in the end.
