Spira vs. Ivalice

I don't even really have to think very hard for this one. Ivalice for sure.

There were some nice spots in Spira, but overall I was never drawn into any of them. I never felt that......."otherworldly, and magical, but still could be real" feeling from any place in Spira. I felt that all the time while playing XII. I just thought the environments were richer, and more full of life than anything in Spira.

no I vote Ivalice, maybe it was just the improved graphics XII had over X, but I also like the design and all the races in Ivalice more.

I agree, Ivalice was more believable for me then Spira.
 
yea whatever happened to Vana'diel thats world bias. Lol anyway i would have to say Ivalice because you could explore it a little more. Ivalice was more expanded and there wa just so much more to explore you really could take in the scenery. Spiras inviroment was good as well and had a beautifull inviroment to explore as well, but it was just so much more narrow. Ivalice as i said gave you so much more to explore then Spira.
 
I think they are both very nice in my opinion. Since I only have to choose one, I think I would have to go with Spira because most of the places there looked quite beautiful while some places in XII I wasn't really keen on. Ivalice seems to be a much larger world and all but I just really like Spira, it's very pretty. I wish I could live there! :P
 
I think ivalice was a lot better than spira as far as graphics, races, and being interactive but its also huge and confusing. i my self perfer ivalice
but someone who doesn't like to have to find there way alot would probably perfer spira
 
I liked Spira, It was Rich and Colorful.
Ivalice had poor cities and slums and wasn't a nice happy place, it was also boring

I vote Ivalice. Easy reason why - you got to explore many lands, see things in greater detail then those in X. Take Bevelle for example. Played a major part in X, but, did we get to go round much of it like we did Luca? No. At least you could go everywhere in XII, pretty much - very breathtaking. Spira doesn't have a boring world, no no, it's just..iunno, kinda average?
 
oooh that's a hard one! Well let's see... Spira is a smaller place but Ivalice is huge and has open plains and such. I think that Spira. Every place is diffrent. It could be a cold snow of Gagazet or burning hot Bikanel sand. I played FFXII but I still don't know Ivalice that much. I guess my vote goes to Spira :D

What about Archades? That place was supposed to be the biggest city but the map in Rabanastre was bigger. =O!!

I say Spira had more background story the places and Ivalice is not as detailed.
 
I vote for Spira because of its metaphysics. the spheres and pyreflies are interesting.

Ivalice was detailed child *bitchslaps* :rolleyes: How can it not be? Travelling round places in Spira took minutes, I got lost in Ivalice XD

I don't know about Archades to be honest - I'll have to think about that.

..Maybe you can explain to me why Bevelle was not given more coverage? :P
 
Spira just seemed empty to me. Loads of open land where Invalice has buildings everywhere.

God I'd kill to live in a city like Zanarkand!!
But Spira is sooo vast, nice islands like Besaid and Kilika for when you retire :P Gagazet for a hike, Bevelle for your wedding, Luca for entertainment, Macalania Forest for a prettyyyyy walk. Yeahhh I've rambled :P
 
I like Ivalice better than Spira, even though I really like both, but Ivalice seems more peaceful for some reason.
 
I think each environment matched each game fairly well. I really loved Spira's omega dungeon; don't say you didn't all love that place. XD
There are a few very beautiful locations in Spira that I just fell in love with.

I have never really played FFTactics, so my opinion on Ivalice only goes as far as FFXII. And I have to say I LOVED IT TO PIECES.

I really can't vote here. Now that I think about it I loved them both a whole lot. ^__^
 
Hmm… That’s actually hard for me to decide between the two; both worlds have equally beautiful areas as well as a true fantasy feel to them. Ultimately, I’d have to go with Spira. I loved the many areas of Ivalce, but for me, Spira has few more favorite spot to it.
