What's there to talk about but that they're creepy eight-legged things, some of which can kill you with a single bite?
Okay, so the black widows are pretty darn common especially in the southern portions of the states, but hey, they're pretty scary too. I've seen only one personally hiding underneath my garden hose, but I stepped on it with my shoe.
Anyways, my worst encounter with one was one time in the Philippines when I was taking a shower, or was about to when the biggest freaking spider crept out of a hole or crack or whatever in the metallic roof.
Dinner-plate size, I tell you.
Killed it though by smashing it with a broom, and then dousing it with boiling water since it didn't die after the initial attack.

I loathe the little bastards. It's not that I'm squeamish towards them, but I know if I find one in my room, especially near the bed, that little asshole is going to bite me in my sleep if I don't kill it.
Sheesh, yeah, when they get into a crack or something, and there's no way you can kill them, it's kinda tough sleeping through the night.
Especially if you live in a house infested not only with tiny spiders and cockroaches, but gigantic ones as well....that are also camouflaged and hairy. >.>
You can't imagine the horrors I lived through 5 years ago.

Haha, I've heard about how some species of spider can get. The kind that are the size of dinner plates and crap, those are the kind that I would certainly find horrifying and be perfectly secure in my "manhood" to admit lol. I saw a picture once of something the soldiers in Iraq get to put up with. Can't remember the name of the spider but the fucker is huge. Runs almost as fast as a vehicle and secrets some sort of paralyzing crap, soldiers have woke up to find half their face eaten away. That kind of spider would have me scared shitless, no joke.

Imagine finding a tarantula in the middle of your room lol. I'd probably faint, well, maybe not, but you get the idea how scared I am of them.
Anyways, ever gone out of your house, like out the door or something, and then you just get wrapped in web? That kinda stinks, 'cause you never know whether there's a spider in there or not. It could just crawl up your face, or it could not, there's always the 5 second suspense if you ask me.

Haha, I got curious as to exactly what this spider was again. I know I saw it on the internet. Turns out what I read was a pretty bullshit-laden tale but here is a pic of what I'm talking about. It's called a camel spider.

Looks pretty big, but maybe it isn't but still, it's not just the size (or lack of size) of the thing, but just look at it, it looks like some kind of cross between a scorpion and a spider...with hairs!
It kinda seems there's two of those things too, huh? Makes it look bigger, I guess.

Haha yeah, re-reading that article again I noticed it pointed out that that pic is two of them intertwined. So it's about half the size of the jumbled mass of arachnid that pic displays.
True, I've never seen anything like it though. o.o

Haha shit yeah. I don't care if it melting your face off and running 50mph did turn out to be a load of crap. I still wouldn't fuck around with it. Here's another video showing it taking down some scorpion. And I guess according to this article they run 10mph, not 50 like the urban legend of them lol. But still, that's a nice brisk pace that no damn spider ought to be hauling, so fuck that.

Spiders freak me out...completely. If I see one in my room I will not go in there for about a week at least. If they are small that's fine but any bigger and I will scream and run. I will have to kill it with spray or a huge as shoe or something.

Well, I wouldn't want any crawling on me and I definitely don't go looking to pick those things up, but I don't mind them at a distance. The less, the better though.

Spiders of any size creep me out. Even pictures of them give me chills. They are the ickiest most loathsome creatures on the planet.
The worst I've seen outside of television was this humongous one that carried its babies on its back. I had to go get my brother to come kill it and when he hit it, hundreds of tiny spider babies started running everywhere. I'm surprised I didn't just die right there. I don't really remember what happened after that but I'm pretty sure it involved me running from the house and probably screaming.

I love the little buggers. They scare me when I don't expect to see one but I like them. A big bugger currently has decided to live in my bedroom and thats fiine by me.
Here's the Brazilian Wandering Spider. Probably the most poisonous spider in the world.

I mean, I understand they're good for the ecology and stuff but just....NIMBS -- not in my bedside.
Take tarantulas for example, they're big and scary but they probably take out loads of pests.
It's just that, it's the way they look (which is can be taken for discrimination in a far off, more perfect world
) that creeps me out. I don't know how, I don't know why. Probably some traumatic kid experience. =\

Small spiders I can handle, its the big ones, bigger than a small coin I can't handle.
I am getting loads in my house, we recently did the garden and it seems all the spiders have came into the house. Me and my girlfriend always argue on who should kill them.
