Spelling so bad it's depressing.

For those of you who have the option turned on where the words you misspell are underlined in red.

When you misspell something, and it's underlined in red, you can right click on it for a list of words that the computer believes you may have been trying to type. Obviously, the worse you spell the word, the weirder the choices you get. If you don't even come close, you won't get any suggested changes. With that said...

How many of you get depressed when you see how poorly you spelled a word?

For example, I was just typing the word aesthetically and the suggested words that came up were: unethically, ethically, telepathically, monolithically, and finally, aesthetically.

That pretty much just ruined by day.

I spelled it so bad that monolithically came up before aesthetically? How pathetic. Good thing I have spell check I guess. What really makes me sad is the fact that I used to be such a good speller. So much for that I suppose.

For those who are wondering, I spelled it: aesthically.

I've spelled things so bad that they haven't even came up in the spell check, and I hate when I don't know how to spell something out expecially when I'm doing a post, I always just google it to see if the spelling comes up correct

I'm a fairly good speller. That, and I don't have spell check on forums. However, I noticed that on normal typing stuff, curse words aren't in the suggested spelling list.

I dont use speel check (oh, the irony). But I think when I spell a word badly, its when I completly forget what Im typing and type a different word that makes no sense in the sentance.

Everytime I have to type necessary, I get sad so I just change it to something else most of the time

Though I usually don't have to worry about spelling, my Firefox can point out my spelling errors for me. =) Although, I wish they added a grammar check as well...

Yeah i spell some words the wrong way...should have taken more attention during my english classes!

whenever I can't spell a word, I use a synonym, or change the sentence.

Ugh. Grammar checks are so annoying in microsoft word. =S

I don't spell horribly at all.
Besides, seeing no red lines is aesthetically pleasing to my eye anyway.

If ever I spell a word wrong, it's usually mainly do to typing too fast and missing some keys; not because I didn't know how to spell the actual word. I'm actually pretty good at spelling. haha.

I'm quite confident in typing and spelling. Though however I'm human and I make mistakes every now and then, sometimes I'm typing so fast I forget to punch in the 'Y' Key when typing the word 'every'. :nod:

The only words that you will probably see me screw up on frequently are there and their. I hate those two words above all else.
