So who is getting the Collectors Edition and who is just going to get the regulare release of the game and/or strategy guide?

I myself preordered the Collectors Edition. I enjoyed the first FF-XIII (even though it needed some work in some areas) and have only the collectors guide for FF-XIII. I plan on getting both Collectors Edition for the game and guide.

I'm getting the CE game only, As far as I can tell, the guide has nothing special minus it looks nice, at least the game has extra DLC stuff, so it might make it worth wild... I hope at least.

Well I'm getting the CE guide because it is hardback and more durable and I don't have to worry about creases in the cover on a paperback.

I was interested in the Crystal Edition and would have got it if it was not so rediculously priced. The CE has nothing worth paying extra for in my opinion. I'd ratehr have the pre-order bonus of the Steelbook, DLC costumes & Boss, Art Cards and the Novella.

What Crystal Edition? Is that some JP or UK exclusive because I can't find any information from GameStop or Amazon for ordering?

It is a UK exclusive. However, you find the FFXIII UK exclusive on ebay for $80. I'll keep an eye out for it and may end up getting it just for the extra stuff they offer.

couldnt find a pre order for the crystal edition anywhere, so i just got the collectors edition as the steel book and whatever else it said came with it appealled to me more than the tshirt and whatever that one whole extra thing was that came with the crystal one

I ordered the CE. My version specifically comes with the Steel book + standard CE items. I would have liked some DLC, but I can live without it in my pre-order if it means I don't have to get it from Gamestop, which I didn't.

*Unless I miss read CE as meaning Collectors Edition and not Crystal Edition.

Where did you pre-order it at? I checked most UK sites (even ones listed on the official site for this Crystal Edition) and none seem to actually offer it.

Unless you count eBay, but there it is labeled for $150-300 (USD).

I'll be pre-ordering from GAME, that's for sure - That pre-order pack is what I want most (Other than the actual game of course XD). So I'm still on the fence about what version I'm getting. If/When my money goes in to my bank on Monday, I'll probably decide.
