The theme this week is Spring. Please remember, that while posting isn't necessary in order to count your vote, it is encouraged.

Also, please remember that you CANNOT vote for your own entry, and you will be disqualified from this SOTW, and the next two SOTWs if you do so.

#2. I really like the colors and the fractals being used; nice and bright. #1 was excellently done as well, but I like more colorful sigs.
 
I voted for #2

I really liked the lighting and effects used. They were very bright which for me gave a "bright and breezy" feel to it. It made me think of spring when I saw it. The stroke was very cool too. I like how it blended in with the banner itself which made it very subtle. I loved everything about this.

The colouring and lighting in #1 was very good as well. it was very close for me to decide. I did however, prefer the stroke of #2 since it was more subtle and blended.
 
Whilst #1 'effect-wise' is technically better, if the text wasn't there I wouldn't have grasped it was meant to be representing the theme, spring. Therefore, on the merits of the actual theme I vote for #2.
