Something strange with my MP3 player

I bought an MP3 player on boxing day, and I'm pretty proud of the buy: original price 150.00, I payed 35.00 :D

Anyways, I deleted 8 songs from it, but when I turned it on again, they were still in the MP3 player in a seperate list or something befere going into my actual playlist

So it's like:

1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.
etc...

And I can still play the songs, so I don't know what to do.

Truthfully, it's not really troublesome, but I prefer to have a single play list and not this weird joined thing.
 
You probably just deleted them from the playlist and not from the actual memory. You might have to connect it to the computer to do that though, it depends what you actually have.
 
If da worst comes to worst, reset the thing. try and back songs up (eg keep spare copies) on the computer in futire in case anythin else happens
 
I did use a computer when I deleted them though...
 
If it is anything like an iPod, then just plug it into the computer and synch it with the songs on your computer, but this time only allow the songs you want to be synched with your MP3 player.
 
I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean.

I've never used an iPod, and this is my first MP3 player...
 
Okay I have...

1 GB "Innovage Digital Audio Player" that plays MP3, WMA, and AMV videos. It also holds pictures, has a recording function and something called an e-book

...Does that help at all?

Still going to say that you only deleted the tracks from your playlist and not the actual memory though.
When you have a gigabyte to play with, why are you even so bothered about three tracks anyway? =/
 
It doesn't really matter now, I managed to delete the extra track; I just hooked it up to a PC at school, and it worked.

Stupid Vista; it doesn't let me do anything! I should have got an XP instead *pouts*
