Square Enix have released some new screenshots of Final Fantasy XIV in action to mark the beginning of the playable Alpha of the game.
The playable Alpha is taking place on one server with a very small number of people to help test out the nuances of the game before the Beta lets a much larger number of people in to play. For the record, yes, we are playing the game and when Square Enix finally says we can we'll be posting impressions for you all to read.
