sorry if its already been postewd here but i havnt seen it when i checked, ive read so many forums and posts on how it is and is not being released on the pc... so i thought posting here to the people who know craploads of FF, will FF13 be released on the pc?
 
My immediate response would no doubt be 'No'.

Though, I went on to check on Wikipedia, and even the official site itself, to further affirm my answer.

It's still no. It's not going to be released on PC, though, it's coming out on the X Box 360, aside from the Playstation 3.
 
I think the game data will surpass that of regular high definition games, taking up a large space and not to mention even longer install time, plus you'd need a really good computer to make it run smoothly. They've stuck to consoles mostly (some remakes using computer), so don't expect it to come to Windows or Mac anytime soon.
 
massive mistake not releasing it on pc imo, so much modding could of been done to make it a great game, so much better graphics for the high-end computers, you know they could of used to mods people create for 13 for 15 if there is one...
 
No, sadly not.

I don't think an FF has been realased on the PC, other than 11 which doesn't count, since Final Fantasy 8, and I don't think it realased in North America but only Europe. I don't think they made a whole lot of money with that market, plus lot's of people complained about bad controls.
 
Yeah, I haven't heard anything about FFXIII going to the PC, but then again you have to take a look at what's coming out after that, which is FFXIV. This game is supposed to be online only again like FFXI was so my guess is that the PC and it's fans everywhere will have this as a treat once released.
 
I think Sony (outside of MMOs) is done with putting FF on the PC. FFVII and FFVIII for the PC didn't sell that well. But then those came out after most people already had it for the PS and saw no need to get it again. Though I don't think PC gaming was popular in the late 90's which may also be a factor.
 
It won't be, like the above post stated, it wouldn't sell well. Most people view ordinary RPG's as a console game anyway so they'd be more inclined to buy it for a console. I think you also have to look at a lot of people probably don't have computers good enough to get the best out of FFXIII, certainly in terms of graphics, HDD space etc so I'm going with no (y)
 
then there's the issue of: arrr! pirates! release a title with the pedigree of 'final fantasy' on a medium where file-sharing makes pirating as easy as one-two-three, you can bet there will be sales lost.
