Help So how screwed am I? Aeon Help

Hi, I just beat Yunalesca, and now I'm running around doing all the extras before the final battles, and I noticed something. I can't get into Anima's chamber. I missed one of the special items from one of the fayth chambers along the way. I don't remember which one, since I put the game down for a few years, and just picked it up practically where I am now. My problem is that when I go back to the temples, they won't let me in saying the monks will capture me if I go in. Is there any way around this? I don't really have any save points to go back to.

Please tell me I'm wrong on this.

Well first, you want to get back onto the airship, talk with Cid and then once you decide to head back to Bevelle, talk to Cid anytime you're on the airship and it'll bring up a list of places you can go. Do searches across the map looking for the hidden areas. Anima is in one of those. Baaj Temple to be exact. You have to fight a boss called Genosaga (I think that's it's name) and then you'll get access to the underwater temple. That's where you acquire Anima. Also, go back through and do all the Cloister of Trials and see if you can get your items that way.

Sorry if my post wasn't clear. I've gotten to the underwater temple, but since one of the statues won't light up. When I go on the airship to the earlier temples (only checked besaid and killika so far), I can't get in due to bystanders telling me to leave before the monks see me, and some guards who shoo me off.
 
As far as I'm aware you have to get all items the first time, so that if you do miss them, you can't go back and get them. So I don't think that there is anyway around that.
 
Which coloured destruction sphere are you missing? I bet its the one in Besaid, I miss that one everytime. You won't need to redo Bevelle because, well, 1 you can't 2. you cant get out of the Bevelle trials without getting it anyway...

If they aren't letting you in anywhere, just progress a tad more with the story (not that theres much to progress too, but like talk to Cid, visit any new destinations - aim for Sin, you will be able to carry on even after selecting Sin as the next destination - still abit more story to go through)

You should be able to access all the trials again no problem except for Macalania temple, which is guarded by Dark Shiva - so much training required to get past her, and Besaid which is guarded by Dark Valefor, he has 800,000 hp, she has 2 million I think

Try to work out which one you are missing first by seeing which coloured pedestal isnt lit up
 
The one I'm missing is probably Besaid. It's the statue in the southwest corner. I'll give that a try. Thanks for the advice.
 
Just to add, if you've got the European version then you'll have to fight the dark aeon before you can get into Besaid
 
Orite, in that case you will be able to get back to all the temples no problem, lucky you :gonk:
 
Yeah- they made our version harder...

Anyway good luck with finding that sphere
 
Okay, according to the strategy guide I was reading there's another item you need to get. I think you've got all the items from all the temples but it's saying that you need to fly back to Zanarkand and entire the dome. There's a new puzzle solution displayed there. Once you step on the three white squares in the first room and the four white squares in the second room it opens a panel in the first room revealing a Destruction Sphere. It says to put that sphere into the slot on the right of the monitor in the larger chamber and the screen will explode. Get the Magistral Rod and return to Baaj Temple. It should work now.
 
In order to be allowed back into the temples, you have to speak with Maester Mika in Bevelle, once you have unlocked the airship for the 2nd time. After this, you will be allowed back into the temples.

The treasure you are most likely missing is the one in Zanarkand. You have to go back there a second time to get the treasure.
 
Hi guys, thanks for the advice. I ended up talking with Mika last night, and found out I was missing the item from Besaid. I now have Anima and I'm back on track.
