I have been playing this game since it first came out. At first it was a lot harder, but once u get the hand of it its not so bad. I have put 45 hrs into the game and just left the stillshrine of miriam. All of my chars are level 35. The fights were easy. Hell even killing bergan was fairly easy. I have like 500000 cp and have killid like 17 marks, so far the most challenging hunt was the lost in the pudding hunt. I was just wondering if anyone else has had it this easy. I know the hunts get harder soon, but killing the white chocobo was cake he didnt even have time to cast paling or what ever. and my party just killed him with reg attacks. Two of them had haste and berserk, but still was an easy fight.

My game has been pretty smooth too, I've leveled up a bit, and haven't had any major problems so far either. It was challenging in the beginning, but as soon as I got the hang of it, no problem. I wouldn't worry about it, lol.

Only 3 deaths

Yepper, not incredibly hard. Only times I died:

Fighting Adrommolech (spelling...) when i was level 25 or something. Was simply underleveled.

1st attempt at Ultima and 1st attempt at Zordiak. Didn't have the right equipment, and didn't have the Reverse/Decoy gambits for my tank.

I hate Zordiak - (if i'm thinking this is esper 13) - I had the right gear on for both primary and secondary party - Ran through Henne Mines and killed everything along the way. I lvled up to around lvl 87 because of it, and then when I got to him I put him down to 1/5th of his health. What does he do?

He casts his Darkja about 20 times in a row - Well I had dark absorption and stuff on , but it has a chance to do "death" - which can't be protected by Ribbons :( . So I got both my parties owned. I Should have used 2 quickening chains .. just wasn't thinking. Stupid Immunity to physical shield went up to early.

So far I've only had troubles with Tiamat. I wasn't expecting a boss fight that early in the dungeon and got my ass handed to me quite a few times. My fault for breezing through and not trying to keep level'd accordingly

well i accidentally went into feywood at lv 22 and got annihilated :(
i found bergan hard cause i was only lv 27 :(

making life easier

During my 2nd run through with Zodiark, I happened on 2 things which helped me ALOT. I could raise dead players NOT in my lineup and I could syphon MP from my tank, who always has MP.

After selecting Raise/Arise/Phoenix Down, hit L1 button. Do this a couple of times to cycle through to your 3 members not in battle. You can do this to manually Syphon or Dispel your own party members :D

I didn't know this until pretty darn late in the game, so others might not also. I was always trying to swap dead players in to rapidly Raise them, and it sucked. Figured since I didn't know about it, others might not also.

This helped alot on Zodiark, K. Behemoth, Hell Wyrm, Fafnir and now Yiamat (who is at 1/5 health as we type!). Happy hunting :D

I think the only time I've had any trouble is with Ultima, I found Zodiark was fairly easy, but that might have been because my part was around level 80. I haven't fought Yiazmut or Omega yet though, and apparently those two are supposed to be extremely hard.

its goin pretty smooth or me. jus died 2 times and im in gurivegan i hope thats smooth.

Oh ya, 100 posts:cool: :)

I think that after level 45,the storyline is a gravy boat with biscuit wheels. In other words, easy. But the bosses topping 50,000,000 HP?With the toughest part of a 30 minute battle being the last 1/6th of his HP?Defense doubling, casting their most powerful spells at reckless abandon?Yeah, level 80 minimum. To me,at least.:)
