i didn't realise, but there was a 'deleted scene' aired at comic-con this year, proving that lost wasn't just a ramble on until they came up with an end. there was a scene filmed specifically with the intention of being shown at comic-con.

it's clear why it was cut from the final cut of the show (that and it was filmed a year after the series finale aired) since it doesn't fit at all with the tone of the show, but it's good to see that there was a plan from the start with
the candidates, jacob, time travel, the light etc.
and also that lindelof, cuse and abrams have such a good humour towards that plan.
 
I wlouldnt mind seeing it again atually but i dont own them all on dvd. Wouldnt be too keen on buying them either. Ive had the last series of 24 on blu ray or almost a year now and not even opened it
 
it's worth it, cos they added another deleted scene to series 6 which actually explains a hell of a lot considering it's only about 15 minutes long
