Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 is Official

The sequel to the recently released Sniper: Ghost warrior 1 is heading to PS3 on day one unlike the first game which took a year to find its way to the PS3 and is given a good shove in the right direction by the awesome CryEngine 3.

Not too many details out about the game just yet, but we’re promised some “graphically stunning” missions, suitably challenging gameplay and, of course, more ghillie suits and bulls-eye precision. Expect to hear plenty more about Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 at this year’s E3, where it will make up a key part of City Interactive’s showcase.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 launching on August 21

Namco Bandai’s announced it’ll release Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 on August 21. The City Interactive FPS sequel will use CryEngine 3 to power the game, making it “the most authentic sniping experience to date in a video game”, according to Namco, who is distributing it in the UK, Greece, Italy and Spain.

It’ll launch on PS3, 360 and PC.

Yup seen some trailers it looked freeking awesome. Always been a fan of snipering. Especially slowmo killcam headshots. Never played the first one and apparently it flopped a bit, but this one looks great.
