Today I was driving my fiance to the chiropractor for his weekly appointment...we decided that I would drive since he recently slammed his toe in the (iron) door, and he can barely move his right foot.

Well...as it turns out...I'm not quite as experienced as a driver in California as I am in New Orleans...the traffic was nonstop, 5 lanes everywhere, people about to hit me left and right without signalling, and...to be quite frank, I was a nervous wreck!

So to make a long story short, I ran a red light, in a rental car that's registered under someone elses name and insurance policy; my boyfriend wasn't wearing a seatbelt, and...I got snapped by a camera as I zoomed through the intersection...

SOoooooo.
+ We owe like a $400 dollar fine for running a redlight.
+ Another fine for not wearing a seatbelt.
+ And another fine by the rental company for (me) driving without being covered by my bf's insurance (since he's the one who rented the car).
+ And yet another point on my bf's driver's license, which may or may not get suspended on account of his bad judgement for letting me drive his rental car uninsured...

So...it's not really a good day. =\
Plus I had a dream that my bf ate 6 valiums and passed out while he was driving an 18 wheeler; and I was buying pot (which is also refered to as smack by aboriginees apparently) for my father...
Yeees.

But actually, I'm eating crackers and cheese right now, so I feel better.
I'll feel much better after my third pack of chocolate chip cookies. ^___^

As luck would have it, I'm out of oreos! :omg:
But I have a WHOLE bag of marshmallows!!!!!!!!!!

Hehehe...Yep, that's the New Orleans mentality for you. Keep that up, and you'll be in jail in no time. Three cheers everyone!!!!

Welcome to California. You should've hit me up and I could've gave you some pointers. ;D

Yea, basically, LA's traffic blows. It is ALWAYS like that in the afternoon and morning. Running a red light, though? That's new. How'd you manage to do that?! If you didn't do that, none of the following would've happened. @_@

Lastly......why wasn't he wearing a seatbelt? That's HIS bad. =D

When having a real bad day eating out of a carton of cookie N cream ice cream helps.

Actually, there was a U-Haul truck in front of me and I couldn't quite see that the light was yellow...and I was following him so close in the butt to butt traffic, that by the time I SAW the light, it turned red right in front of me. >_<

Yes, well...
The whole time I was simply following the truck in front of me. At the intersection, I could see the poll that the traffic light was hanging on, but at the time when I looked up, the light was being blocked from view by the truck in front of me...Basically I didn't know if it was red, green, yellow, or what, so I just took a chance, (a bad one).

And by the time I saw the light, it had just turned red. >_<

ooooooooooooooooooooooo welllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll XD

*sigh*
I'm definitely feeling the guilt right now.
I basically owe my bf a lot of money, meaning...probably neither one of us will do anything for our anniverssary next month.
AND he probably WILL get his liscense suspended. >_<
