However, there is one restriction that this other forum has regarding avatars.
"width can be no greater than 80 pixels, the height no greater than 80 pixels, and the file size no more than 293 KB."
:S That means the avatar may be quite small, so don't be put off if it looks really odd.
EDIT: So, after a lot of thinking and some chocolate, I was struck by inspiration and found some of these pictures I think fit the theme very well. You may use either of them.
