Sidequests for FFXII

There's the Earth Tyrant and the Dragon ( was it Doom Dragon? ) optional bosses, I don't know if you covered them in your first play through.

To be honest, the marks are probably the greatest sidequest available.
There's the hunt club and their competition to kill rare monsters at the Phon Coast.

Apart from that, off the top of my head there's afew other side events that have their own rewards but none necessarily that match the hunts and Espers.
 
I know there's one where you have to return the cockatrice to their home, and to do that you need to go to the giza plains during the rains, knock down 6 white, dead trees, and you go into a secret area, where you need to pick up a feather of the flock - beware, the monsters in this area are at least lv 37, so if you're underlevelled, go back out. Unless you can move in and out quickly.

You can also do some matchmaking, match the lovestruck man up with the viera, do the extra chops in archades, get everybody drunk in Bhujerba (by giving everyone madhu, which is a wine). Everytime you give someone wine, they give 1000 gil. theres some more stuff to do, but you may need a guide to help you out. Bradygames guide I have seems to do me just fine, so get one of those and look for the quests and stuff at the back.
