Sick of the Rumours

Ok I've been a VII fan since day one. And since then people have been throwing out rumours about hidden items and characters.

Getting Zack/Sephiroth to join the party. Bringing Aerith back to life, Punch the Goblin as a secret chracter.


Who else it sick of this, its been over a decade. People have hacked the game and found no such content.

Its always a "I once read" or "my friend once told me" if you kill 600 Midgar Zolums without sustaining any damage in a row a magic fairy comes and has sex with Cloud and the baby is Sephiroth and he joins the party.



Will people stop saying these stupid rumours. We have full game in depth FAQ's and Omega/Reunion Files etc.



The only thing people have ever been throw off by are a few back drops not used in the game (I believe from North Crator where weapon was released from), The empty chest in Coral Prison and the strange enemy graphic access'd throught hacking the game, which was proberly used for testing purposes.

The only thing ive ever been able to do was get Seph in my party & Bring Aeris back to life, with the Help of Action Replay.

But theres no glitch in game to do any of this.

I agree, they should give up the crap, especially the zach bit

Meh, it's just people who've recently been turned towards the game since Advent Children's release. They all like to spread rumors to fuel the curious. Or they just use a Game Shark or Action Replay Max cheat disc. *shrugs* Just ignore them if it bothers you that much. Not every fan of VII has been a fan since day one.

Yeah these rumours are really getting annoying but you can get Aerith back with gameshark but I t might lock your game up and ya you can play as Sephiroth the whole game if you have a character modifier code for Sephiroth but I do not reccomend this. Yeah And these really stupid rumours need to stop.

I read a bunch of these rumors and even printed them out. One of the sites I found them were here. At first, I thought they were interesting to test out when I was completely into FF7 but I think these rumors are just silly now. They are just pointless fantasy rumors to get fans to believe such things like this could happen in the game.

I mean without the use of any game sharks, action replay bullshit. They just screw games up anyway. I'm talking about just owning a PS1 or PC and playing the game. They make such stupid rumour up...that we all know to be fause. really gets my back up

Its not something im fussed about really, you hear so many ridiculous rumours about FF that you know there false. I just ignore them now.

I don't think any of the original players do that anymore... As stated above, there is a good chance that the new(er) players just want to be part of the history of this game.... The rumors about bringing back Aerith and turning Midgar into solid gold being a large part.

i agree that these rumors are false,well actually i proved them false like the 600 midgar zolem rumor i did that and it took forever but i was not surprised when nothing happened.

Rumor #1 - If you collect all the 1/35 soldiers and the Masamune blade from gold saucer and take them to cosmo caynon you can get a Sephiroth Clone. FALSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rumor #2 - If you get the super sweeper and take it to Fort Condor you can repair the tiny bronco. Then on Disk Three you will be flying in that instead of the highwind. FALSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rumor #3 - If you select the right actions when you find Aeris in the forgotten city, you can save her life. FALSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rumor #4 - If you do some bogus things and go to where aeris died on disk three you can get Holy. FALSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rumor #5 - After you jump off th train when going to the second mako reactor in Midgar, you can go down and fight soldiers until Zack joins your party. FALSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rumor #6 - If you master all the materia for a single class you can get one from the huge materia yu find. This only works on green, yellow, and red. TRUE~

That's not a rumor. You can get Aerith and Sephy via a gameshark or other code editor.

I don't think he was saying it was a rumour.

Rumours don't really bother me that much, the majority are obviously false. People probably make them up as a prank to see who bothers wasting their time doing some annoying, repetitive task.
