Choose Xbox 360's Gestalt to the left, or PS3's Replicant to the right.

Both sites have sections for story, character and special available. Both character sections show Nier, Kaine, and Grimoire Weiss (the magic book). Both special sections have downloads for the game's TGS 2009 movie.

The two versions of the site are cross-navigatable. On every page, you can click an icon on the lower right of the screen to see the same page under the other version. This is particularly interesting for the character and story sections. In the character section, Kaine and Grimoire Weiss have the same profile text across both versions while NieR, being unique between the two titles, does not share the text. In the story section, the text changes between the two versions, but a couple of the screens remain the same.

Well, I'd be getting the PS3 version simply because I have it and don't want to waste money getting the 360 just to find out how their side of the story shapes up. Even then, I have friends who have 360s and I can join them in their quest to experience both versions of the game. Though, it's only a small difference, and doesn't warrant buying the other version, even if you have both consoles.

Okay, wait. I need clarification again. Replicant is going to Japan and Gestalt is going the the West, and Replicant is only on the PS3 and Gestalt is on both the XBOX 360 and PS3, right?

I'm with you there. If they have English subs in Replicant, I think I honestly would save up and import it. Character design is really important to me in gaming, and while Square apparently thinks the Western fans like these "meathead" characters, it's not what I want Dx

I wish I could make a petition and go to Square and tell them there's a reason why I and other like JRPGS xD

Urgh! Japan has the choice- but we will only get ONE Nier which is the Gestalt version.

Who cares if Replicant's Nier doesn't look like it will appeal to the west? It looks like any other JRPG character I've ever seen and we've been fine with them up until now. Gestalt's protagonist looks so generic- muscles and growling.

If I wanted to play a game with a muscular, growling sort of man, I would play Gears of War. Replicant's Nier certainly looks better out of the two.

Lingerie in the battlefield = the ridiculous nonsense from Japan that the boys probably already know and love. And probably the girls as well.
