As there is a thread for the notorious Mr.G (Gilgamesh) I have decided one is need for the over powered ruby weapon. This thread is for gathering information on ruby weapon and finding ways to beat him and ultamitely organising a group to beat him.

Heres what I know so far.

He has 200 for all hes base stats, str def eva etc..

He has a rediclous amount of HP i think its 20000.

He has a fair arsenal of spells including Poison.

Any new info should be posted here so we can gather up an idea of Ruby Weapon as unlike Mr.G we can't scan him.
 
If is skills are around 200 i have no problem in hitting him really hard. I haven't fought him yet, but if anyone does it, post his Skills here. I don't think he will be a Problem, Mr.G was too easy, he is just a little more stronger, and so we are too.

Still... Julius might have added him something nasty...

Im already ready, just waiting for you guys to Level Up. I will be back later in some hours.
 
Holy crap! Level 50...are you serious? o_O Those Bandersnatch monsters I scanned are only Level 43, do the monsters really give you that much exp? In that case, this is great!

200 for all base stats? That ain't bad, 20000 HP will make for one heck of a long battle... If I level up enough to get really strong, I may take him on by myself just to see what he's got, even if it is suicide...

If someone hasn't gotten a great deal more of information before then, I'll just deposit my Gil, and take the sure loss that what be added to my battle record, I don't want to get to where I have very many of those though. :/
 
Hell's Way 4, The Trio of enemies gave me 7 exp per battle, this at lvl 49.
Ah i see that you mastered Zantetsuken and your almost lvl 50, good. Perhaps you and me can test Ruby Weapon by ourselves.
 
Yeah, leveling up like crazy, it'd be great to have that big chunk of metal's ass handed to him. XD Well, I think it might take more than two people to take it down, but we could have a go with it ourselves to see what it's made of soon if you want.

Do I have to be Level 50, or would Level 49 be okay? And, it's SPD isn't 200 or higher, is it?
 
Keep on Training once you reach 50 we go.
As i explained on the PM, im getting the 400 Matches.

Yes we might need more one/two members. But we never know untile we see what he is made of. Dunno about that, but i have 100 SPD, if he is above 200.. it could be a little problem. His weakness you say? I would say the obvious answer is Arms. Just a guess...
 
Is there any particular reason to have to reach level 50 before we fight it? Won't 49 work? Or doesn't it not allow you to fight it at a lower level than 50? >_>
 
No you can go at level you want, and im not asking you to be at level 50.
But like i told you, getting 400 matches is going to take sometime. While I am doing it you Try can reach lvl 50.
 
Ruby Weapon stats are all 200. He has 30000HP and 5000MP
The spells he casted were: Cura, Drain, Sandstorm and Poison.

He is a Pawn machine... He attacked me 2/3 times, I have 100 SPD.

We can't beat him, we have to fight him 1 vs 1 -__-

This 'Mission' will be delayed until we can fight him as a team.

...Julius why not create a new area, that people get thrown to when they mess with the flower.
 
Good idea Jushiro as he is a nasty peice of work. I managed to hit him once dealing a whopping 4 damage. It will take a full party maybe more to even think of taking him on. Oh and he more spells than that.

From what I can tell he has a fair arsenal of spells and because of his high stats most players can't even hit him.

What I must say is. Julius if we have to beat this thing to procced try either toneing it down a massive amount or giving us another area to train and some good gear or we will be stuck here for along time.
 
Lowering his EVA/SPD and MAG DEF would be good for most of you.
I don't have any problem in hitting him and with some decent damage.
The biggest problem his its huge speed, he can attack us two/three times each turn.

If you have read the 'Power to the people' thread, you know that Julius said that we would make him a worthy opponent and we can fight him as a team. :D
But we have to wait for it. Meanwhile you guys can help Kei/Moogle and others members beat MR.G.
 
Sounds good, I'll help any of them if I see one of them online significantly before I would be going offline, because it takes some time to take down Gilgamesh.

Btw, I did face Ruby Weapon myself, to find out that it just separates you from the rest of your team, so it was a solo battle...but I managed to take off almost 2000 HP with Zantetsukens, surviving actually wasn't a problem at all for me, when I saw would always fail to escape, I had to Zantetsuken myself to death because I didn't have the patience to have Ruby kill me. XD

So, my big problem was MP restoration. I can survive against it, but I can't have anywhere near enough MP to use Zantetsuken (the only spell I used that damaged it (didn't use Flare at all)) on it enough to chip away it's HP very much...
 
Yeah... i was leading the party i was pulled to fight him alone, and you went after. We can only fight him as a team, the two of us and a Healer could make it wihout a problem (except his Speed).

While i would berserk myself and attack him, you would cast Zantetsuken and recover MP when needed, the Mage would revive us and Help you by restoring your MP as well.

It would take some time but we could make it.

But hey, someday I'll create another MrG (it could be Mr K) and we will all fight him/her/it(?) hahahahaha!!!
 
I know Mr. K is Kefka, Julius. :P

By weekend, are you saying by the end of the weekend, or after the weekend? I assume the later is what you mean, since Sunday is just the day after tomorrow...so we should be able take on Ruby Weapon as a team as soon as Monday, maybe?

And whenever it is that's fine, I understand that you are quite busy. If there is anything I can help you with...let me now. I may not have RPG powers, but I can come up with some ideas that those who do have RPG powers could incorporate them into the RPG. :wink:

First, yes i undertstand you have more to do and busy, so take your time and whenever you can do it its completely understandable. :P

Aye, thats sounds great to me. I always like challenges/team battles. Can't wait forward to it. :D
 
Can't wait forward to it? Wait backward to to it then! XD J/k. Meanwhile we'll just be training in the RPG, I should get more efficient at use weapons some, I won't have enough MP to do much good for very long against an enemy with tens of thousands of HP, sadly...
 
Just out of curiosity who is after Mr. K? Mr. I? (Ifrit)
