Well I was just talking on the SB and a few people said that this was a good idea so...
Because they're having the 'Mass Reset' of sorts I think it's be nice to have a go at renaming things, Swords, Towns, whatever.
Well just post what you want to rename and a suggestion. Make sure you say what it is you're talking about renaming otherwise it'd be pretty useless information.

Shiny Rupture...? XD What would Bahamut Tear be like? Probably very powerful, I'm sure.

I'll be sticking with lots of spells though, so weapons won't be of much use to me other than for modifiers.

Still like to be the owner of just about anything the RPG has to offer, just for the heck of it.

Well, how about making the part of the story from the start to Hell's Way into something from FFIII? Example:
Larai Village/Graveyard/Chapel into Kazus, with Refia and Takka instead of Mary and Elizabeth. Instead of the Graveyard, change it into the Mithril Mines, and merge Mary and Elizabeth into Refia's Shop. Takka can take Ralius' place. Cid can also replace Romus in the Chapel.
Instead of the Tunnels, you can have the names of the caves with the crystals (Altar Cave, Molten Cave, Cave of Tides, and Ancients' Maze) if you decide to add Summoner to the primary classes. The bosses for the crystal caves are Land Turtle, Salamander, Kraken, and Titan. You can also rename the shops into Luneth (Assassin), Arc (Mage/Sage) Ingus (Warrior), and Desch (Summoner). Rabanastre can be renamed Amur, and Hell's Way and Conhaggen can be renamed Saronia Catacombs and Saronia respectively.
Yeah... that's a lot of info.

If the weapons are going to be renamed, or if more powerful ones made, I feel like they should take on Final Fantasy names as this is a Final Fantasy Forum.

You know, names of weapons that have been used time and time again like:
Save The Queen (Weapon seen in many games, usually a sword)
Masamune (Popular FF Katana)
Ragnarok (Another sword seen in many games)
Excaliber (Sword...)
Gae Blog (Spear)
Dragon's Whisker (Spear)
Kain's Lance (Just an idea 8D)
Peacemaker (Gun)

Im sure there are more, but these are some things I thought of off the top of my head.

There's always the Gungnir for defeating Odin, and a pet Catoblepas (his horse) could be another reward. As for katanas, there's also the Kiku-Ichimonji and the Ashura. Don't forget about the classes; add a Thrown Weapon class (Shuriken, Boomerang, etc.) with the FFIII staples like the Moon Ring Blade and the Rising Sun.

Sword from FFT. It wasn't strong at all but it had a 75% chance to petrify. So if you add it it should be more of a joke of weapon..
Just thought I would throw that out there coz it was my favorite weapon. Along with Save the Queen/King and Excalibur. Dupe glitches are the best!
