First, you have money don't you?
If you want to be a mage then you need to ask a mage to tell you how to start things <_<
However, if you want to be a warrior, use your money to buy 2 shortswords and REMEMBER to EQUIP them and potions with the rest of the money then you're ready to go <_< of course don't try moving to the next are just because you reached an area, you need to level up in order to be able to take the guys in the next area. <_<
